For Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia "A few months after starting Brukinsa, I began to break out in rashes and sores on my arms and scalp. My skin started itching, especially on my head. Hydrocortisone cream and medicated shampoo and medicated skin cream took care of all that. I also take a buttload of supplements - Vitamin C, Vitamin E, multivitamins, selenium, Vitamin D3, etc. - along with four doses of iron every day to keep my red blood cell levels up. It will be two years in November since I started on it, and so far it works like a charm. Unfortunately, it also increases my joint pain. But I exercise regularly and eat right most of the time. Lots of walking, playing drums and going to the gym, so that, as well as a dose of Tramadol 2-3 times a week, keeps my pain at bay. I don't take any other prescription drugs. I'm 63 years old and still have some living to do, so thank God for Brukinsa!"

For Waldenström Macroglobulinemia "Tiredness, some joint pain, and bruising on my left forearm are the side effects I am experiencing. The drug is working on the disease, so all in all, right now the overall experience is positive."

For Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia "This medication is extremely hard on my GI tract, causing pain 15 minutes after I take the medication. I can feel it as it moves through my GI tract due to where the pain is in my abdomen. I am also experiencing extreme fatigue and joint pain. It has decreased the size of my lymph nodes and my LDH and blood counts are improving. But, there is a cost-both physically and financially."
