For Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia "My mom, 74 years old, started taking Brukinsa recently on Aug 20, 2024. All swelling lymph nodes on the collarbone and underarms are gone. She is losing a little weight, no side effects. I have noticed some skin dryness and wrinkles around the neck, a little fatigue, but overall, much better than before treatment. Thanks to the lymphoma clinic in Fred Hutch Cancer Center, Seattle, and thanks to the Beigene company and their support team."

For Waldenström Macroglobulinemia "Was totally fatigued and had severe weight loss. Two weeks on Brukinsa, noticed the difference. Taking 160mg in the morning and 160mg in the evening. After taking these for one year, my weight is back to normal, no serious side effects, did have some bruising at the start. Healed quickly."

For Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia "This medication is extremely hard on my GI tract, causing pain 15 minutes after I take the medication. I can feel it as it moves through my GI tract due to where the pain is in my abdomen. I am also experiencing extreme fatigue and joint pain. It has decreased the size of my lymph nodes and my LDH and blood counts are improving. But, there is a cost-both physically and financially."

For Waldenström Macroglobulinemia "My dose is currently 160 mg once per day. I have few side effects. Some muscle and joint issues, which are resolved pretty well by stretching, exercise, and relaxation techniques. It has given me my life back. I was using a walker when first diagnosed with lymphoma. Now I can walk, hike, and bike for an hour. Fatigue is definitely an issue, so I need to rest in between activities. While I can't just take off for a day like I used to, I am still living a good life. It is crazy expensive, but between Medicare, my supplemental insurance, and help from the manufacturer, I haven't had any copay. I'm so grateful."
