For Sexual Dysfunction, SSRI Induced "I am in my early 60s and found, over an 18-month period, a gradual deterioration of penile rigidity. For Erectile Dysfunction "I had my prostate removed at the very young age of 42. I am now 62, and I thank God and Pfizer for Viagra. The brand name works great for me, although it does give me a very stuffy nose, which I am prone to because of lifelong hay fever. The VA switched to a generic made by TEVA a couple of years ago, as did Express Scripts. That version I find to be as effective as sawdust. I found that generic forms by other manufacturers work as well as the brand name. So it seems it is just TEVA's version that is no good. I'd be interested to know if others have had a similar decrease in effectiveness with the TEVA version. They are white elongated pills."

Sildenafil "I had taken Revatio after AAA surgery when the doctor thought I might lose my legs or feet. For Erectile Dysfunction "(7-31-2022) Never taken (sildenafil). I'm 51, at 209 lbs/6 ft tall. I strongly believe my weight is contributing to my ED issue. I figured out my fluctuating weight impacts my waking up with or without a hard penis. As my weight drops closer to my ideal weight of 180, I wake with an erection, it's more than obvious! I'm extremely cautious, don't like to take OTC meds, but our sex life was fading. After much research, I decided to order this drug. I've not taken an entire pill yet. For my first dose, I crushed one (20) pill and took 1/4 of it on an empty stomach. My body's reaction: Within 35 minutes, my face felt warm, flushed, and I could definitely feel my penis warming up. My side effects: Difficulty sleeping that night, 2 days later a few pimples on my face and sore bumps in my armpits (all not normal for me).
