For COVID-19 "One of remdesivir's side effect is kidney failure. My friend's father went to the hospital with covid, and the hospital told him they can treat covid patients ONLY with remdesivir. So my friend's father was treated with it. After 5 days being on remdesivir his kidneys started to shut down. His lung got full of water which the doctors diagnosed as pneumonia. How come doctors who spent years studying in universities can't tell the difference between a lung being full of water or if it's pneumonia??? To make a long story short my friend's father died on the hospital on the 9th day. Don't take it!"

For COVID-19 "I constantly had to urinate. It was horrible. I had 5 days treatment with remdesivir. I left the hospital feeling incredibly weak and exhausted. I came home and found a doctor to prescribe hydroxychloroquine, z-pack and ivermectin. Now I am much better, almost back to normal and I haven’t finished the hydroxychloroquine."

For COVID-19 "My dad died after being given this remdesivir which is not known how it interacts with other drugs. My dad had diabetes and myeloma dysplasia and yet was blindly given this drug as doctors were following protocols instead of treating individual patients."

For COVID-19 "I tested positive for Covid 19, stayed home for 10 days and was feeling much better, but then had problems breathing. Being a lung transplant recipient I called my transplant team. They told me to get to the hospital right away, which I did. I needed some supplemental oxygen but otherwise felt fine. I was given remdesivir along with dexamethasone and oxygen and stayed in the hospital for 9 days. I went home needing only 2 litres of Oxygen. I continued to get better but was tired. Now 2 months later my kidneys are in trouble, my glucose is all over the map, my Blood pressure isn't stable, going so low I faint to 169/102, my heart rate is extremely high then low, I shake most times, I'm cold and then overheating. My conclusion is I wish I hadn't taken remdesivir but instead insisted on trying Hydroxychloroquine."

For COVID-19 "It’s not for everyone. It’s crazy expensive and does so much damage to your body With all the deadly side effects how did it get EUA approved by the FDA ? They came out with the vaccine rather quick someone needs to make something safer. It’s like damn if I do and damn if I don’t."

For COVID-19 "My mom was given this drug in the hospital for Covid Pneumonia. She went in on Dec.3, 2021 and passed away on Dec. 15th . It caused her kidneys and other organs to shut down. All her friends kept telling me to get her out of that hospital and to get her off that drug. Unfortunately, you are at the doctor's mercy. Especially when you are not allowed to even go in and visit or talk with them in person. These hospitals and doctors are making a lot of money using this drug. They could careless about who it hurts!"

For COVID-19 "Diagnosed with COVID Sunday went back ER Friday. Diagnosed with COVID pneumonia. Was given remdesivir double dose first day followed by 3 days of single doses. Dexamethasone was given 8 days. I was released Saturday 9 days later with no oxygen. I can not say if it helped or not. I am recovering at home now 6 days. I feel I was 1/16 of what I was before. Very weak and lungs feel like an old paper bag that needs priming to use fully. 2 day toes and fingers tingle 3rd and 4 th day felt full like over balloons and pain even with no movement. Fingers and toes are back to tingling and slight pain to use. Fresh fruit and veggies taste best but some meat tastes salty and horrible. Bland meat taste best. My voice and movements seem to be choppy and not precise but I can not say its visible but there is an audible difference when speaking."

For COVID-19 "I was diagnosed with covid pneumonia end of 2021. Went to ER with an O2 reading of 79% and they started me on Remdesivir IV immediately. 4-6 hours later I noticed my urine became VERY dark. I was transferred to another hospital and given more Remdesivir the next day. My lab work was checked and I was told my liver levels were over twice the level they should be. Previous blood work 4 months prior showed normal levels. I begged them to take me off it on day 2 and they wouldn't. My urine was coffee colored by day 3 and told them I am NOT taking anymore. Liver levels were even higher, as well as my blood sugar. I now also was spotting a dark reddish purple color and they didn't know why. They took me off of it on day 3. It's now been 4 months, I am going to have my levels checked again to see if I'm OK. Remdesivir is can be VERY deadly. Please use with caution and know about side effects before starting on it. Had I taken the full 5 day dose, I don't think I'd be here today."

For COVID-19 "I was put in the hospital with Covid pneumonia on January 24th for four days and was given Remdesivir IV the whole time. It’s now June 14th and I’m still on oxygen 24/7, constant painful headaches, losing my hair, have back pain, I have no energy for 5 months now. When I take off my oxygen it starts tanking to as low as 82. I’m nauseous every day. I’m 65 years old and I would never take it again."

For COVID-19 "I received 5 IV injections of remdesivir for COVID and since then my blood pressure has been low. Before taking remdesivir I've always had high blood pressure. I have had muscle weakness in my legs. I have had headaches. I find that with any little cut I bleed a lot. The doctors and nurses have had a had time getting blood out of my veins for a blood test. They get the needle in the vein but they can't get blood out."

For COVID-19 "My husband was given remdesiver 8 days after our symptoms were gone. He was admitted with pneumonia and PEs. He was initially on 2L of oxygen. After each dose he required 4-6L of oxygen. His blood work, especially those that were about kidney and liver, got worse every day. He should never have been given this drug. Every doctor, PA, pharmacist, and nurse I talked with said the doctor was falsifying his medical records so he could prescribe. Now we are waiting to see if he has kidney and liver damage."

For COVID-19 "I was admitted to hospital with COVID pneumonia. I was not vaccinated. I was given 6 IV units of remdesivir along with dexamethasone and oxygen and stayed in the hospital for 13 days. I went home needing no oxygen. I continued to get better but was very tired for quite some time. Started feeling better but have now been dealing with hair "shedding". Not sure if it's from the medication or the nasty virus. We are all just "guinea pigs"."

For COVID-19 "This is a dangerous drug. My 26 day old grandson who showed no signs of a cold was given this and within half hour could not breathe on his own. He was taken to resuscitation, then to ICU. It took 3 months for his breathing to sound normal. Who knows what long-term damage has been done to him? A side effect is trouble breathing. Why was he given anything considering he was in the hospital for chronic reflux and not for a respiratory illness? Dangerous and pointless protocol that could be costing people their lives. Each person should be individually accessed and never follow dangerous and ineffective protocols. The system needs an overhaul and this starts at the top. I guarantee this won't even be published. Hospital has ignored our pleas. Corrupt to the core"

For COVID-19 "As far as I'm concerned redeliver helped cure my covid 19. Was in hospital for 7 nights treated with blood thinners, remdesivir, steroids etc plus insulin (as my blood sugars went up possibly due to remdesivir). However I was very happy to be administered with remdesivir. My side effects were extreme body weakness, headache, urinating a lot more than normal. I was very happy to have recovered from covid 19 and the side affects after 14 days at home are wearing off."

For COVID-19 "This medicine killed my mom. She went in with covid and made it through the first 5 days of this medicine so we were praying she was in the clear. It was up and down by the minute and new side effects from this drug just kept emerging every single day and drs would say they didn’t know what was causing it. Her blood pressure dropped really low, her blood sugar shot up, she had fluid in her lungs most days so many more I can’t think of right now. I’ve now had time to read what the side effects are of this drug and it was so many of her new symptoms. We are beyond heartbroken and wish I was able to function enough to research it all while she was still fighting for her life. Just beware before your loved ones go to the hospital, the doctors would not listen to us when we asked them to stop this medicine. Such a sad world it’s become when they don’t treat individuals they only follow protocol. Sickening"

For COVID-19 "Fully vaccinated, got Covid. Immediately upon testing positive, I was told by the clinic I had Covid too long for Remdesivir or any anti-viral to work. What a bunch of rubbish that proved to be. My condition worsened so much! My local ER refused to treat me with this drug. Oxygen levels dropped so dangerously low. My primary couldn't seem to help me at all. Finally went to a different ER. Got Remdesivir via IV. Within hours, all symptoms except pneumonia went away. I mean GONE! Fever never returned, nausea, vomiting, headache, head to toe pain...all GONE. With that kind of relief, my immune system was able to focus on fighting the pneumonia, and it was bad. I remain so upset that this medication was withheld from me for so long and it was unnecessary! Why is it not being given? Something stinks to high heaven in how this medication is being so unevenly applied, even among my own local providers. Perhaps something else is driving the misinformation highway. I only know it works and fast!"

For COVID-19 "I had Covid-led pneumonia. CT Scan 10/25. I was hospitalised and kept on ventilator. I was given IV Remidesivir for 5 days along with Baricitinib (1 pill each day for 14 days). I started recovering from 4th day. Coughing reduced substantially. After 5th dose, my ventilator was removed and I was told to walk in the hospital ward. I was discharged from the hospital on the 9th day. After returning home, I was a bit weak for a 5-6 days. Now after 14 days I'm normal but still have pain in my left knee. In my case, remdesivir + baricitinib worked really well. I was also prescribed Fabiflu for 14 days."

For COVID-19 "March 2021 hospitalized with pneumonia and oxygen saturation 80%. In ER asked for hydroxychloriqine (sp?). ER doctor was very nasty about it and said it’s the WORST thing ever. Was trying hard to push ventilator- I told him no. I had also been treating with herbals several days before going to ER. I was 58 y/old at the time with type 2 diabetes, overweight and a light smoker. Ended up in hospital for 2 nights given 3 doses remdesivir, steroids(really screwed up my glucose but oh well), and insulin. When discharged I lay out in the sun every day - went for follow up 1 week after discharge and lungs clear. I was tired for a few weeks but completely recovered. I was happy I was not in that hospital for more than 2 nights."

For COVID-19 "Hospitalized in Aug 2020 with Covid pneumonia, in ICU for 12 days, 10 days on a ventilator. The hospital was a research testing site for Remdsivir (thank GOD) my family signed to allow me to receive bc I was near death. It worked. I remained in hospital for another 21 days still testing positive, 10 days in rehab hospital. Within 6 months I was back at exercise, Pilates and feeling great. Yes I’m 73. It was the right drug at the right time."
