"I’m right in the middle of the TriLyte prep as we speak. I’ve taken the first 4 doses of 8 (8 oz each) that I’m taking 4-6 pm, and the final 8 doses I will start at 4:30 am tomorrow with my procedure at 10:30 am. So far, I completely disagree with the first 3 reviews. Mine is supposed to be lemon flavored, but I didn’t notice since I drank each glass very quickly and finished with a lemon chaser, which is key to not noticing the taste of the crap. LOL."

"TriLyte was the most disgusting solution ever! In 2019, one would think there would be a better method of preparation for a colonoscopy. This solution, mixed with water and a lemon-flavored packet, tasted like a combination of metal and fish!! I had to hold my nose with each dosage. If your doctor recommends this solution, then find another doctor who can prescribe a combination of Dulcolax and Miralax (or something else). Again, this was horrible!!"

"The stuff tastes awful-like slime water. Gagged and almost vomited with every sip. Magnesium citrate tastes wonderful in comparison. Will look for a doctor who uses something else next time!"

"With all of the advances in technology and research on medicines, I would hope someone comes up with a better solution/protocol. This solution was horrible and was the worst part about the whole situation of prep for a colonoscopy."
