For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I've been on Lomaira for about 8 weeks and have had success. My doctor first put me on 37.5 mg generic phentermine, but I couldn't stop sweating, and it was giving me anxiety. I was definitely eating less, but I hated the feeling. My doctor told me a new weight loss medication was now available that was more targeted to evenings when I tend to overeat after work. It's definitely a bit more expensive. I'm paying $29/month, and the generic was about $18/month. I prefer the brand, and I like starting on this low dose. You can go all the way up to 24 mg with this, so I will probably stay on Lomaira for a while. I've lost about 18 lbs in 2 months. I don't take Lomaira unless I have cravings. I don't like drugs, so I'm happy to use less phentermine."
