Osimertinib for Non Small Cell Lung Cancer "My dad was diagnosed stage 4 with CNS metastasis. He received gamma knife surgery and CRT while taking Tagrisso. Currently, no visible tumor left. There may be minimal residual disease (MRD) undetected by CT and MRI, but no sizable tumor larger than 2mm. It's a blessing."

Osimertinib for Non Small Cell Lung Cancer "After the oncologist told my mom that within a couple of weeks she'd be able to have a normal life, we went home with joy. Two weeks later, she was admitted to the hospital due to difficulties breathing. After getting a pleural draining, we informed the oncologist that there were symptoms of toxicity, such as swollen lips, trouble breathing, light-headedness, and inflammation. This was the week of Halloween 2022. Tagrisso kept being pushed and pushed, and my mom's health was getting worse in terms of adverse symptoms. She died yesterday, 12.21.22."

Osimertinib for Non Small Cell Lung Cancer "Tagrisso is a very bad medication. My mother died on these, and no one will answer my questions. My mother was forced to take these by her doctor at the hospital. The doctor said my mother had to be patient because Tagrisso was good for my mother, but my mother passed away."

For Non Small Cell Lung Cancer "I am a UK patient. I was diagnosed with lung carcinoma + limited secondaries a few months ago when I was experiencing significant pain from a 5cm tumor in my upper right thorax. I was dispensed Tagrisso by my consultant. The results seem, on reflection, to have been little short of miraculous. In 24 hours of starting Osimertinib Tagrisso medication, the pain in my thorax had wholly vanished. A month later, my bloods are good, and I am effectively asymptomatic."

For Non Small Cell Lung Cancer "I developed resistance to erlotinib, which served me well for three years. I now have 4 months with Tagrisso (osimertinib), and I feel much better, the side effects of diarrhea and rash are more tolerable and showed improvement to the RX."

Osimertinib for Non Small Cell Lung Cancer "I have non-small cell lung cancer metastasized to bones and liver. I was diagnosed in last July 2024. I started Tagrisso in August and also had 4 courses of carboplatin and pemetrexed, then two more courses of just pemetrexed. I had a facial rash for the first few weeks on Tagrisso and then smaller intermittent rashes on my arms for a few more weeks. After that, I developed worsening constipation (chronic constipation has been a lifelong problem for me), a frequent feeling of pressure in my lower intestine, and very achy muscles. My dosage was reduced to 40 mg and the muscle aches improved, but not my intestines. In my seventh month, I started getting an intermittent queasy stomach. My scans have been good-initially showing a 60% reduction in tumors, then stable to slight shrinkage. My appetite has continued to be good, but I have still lost some weight, which concerns me. I do also have fatigue and spacey feelings that come and go."

Osimertinib for Non Small Cell Lung Cancer "I had an incidental finding of a right lung nodule and had it removed with partial lung resection in October 2023. I was diagnosed with stage 4 NSCLC. I completed 6 rounds of chemotherapy, during which a targeted therapy of Tagrisso was introduced at the same time. I had a fair share of the common side effects, such as skin irritations, brittle nails, and paronychia, but they are manageable. My repeat PET scan and blood work remain all clear of any further activity. My general feeling is that I have been given a new lease on life! Thank you, Tagrisso!"
