For Dietary Supplementation "Postpartum hair loss: The 2nd day of taking this, I had a bad headache, but I get them occasionally, so I didn't connect the two. The 3rd time, I woke up at 4 am and had severe hives covering my body. I took two Benadryl and waited an hour or so. It helped relieve the itching, but my throat began to swell, and it was difficult to breathe. My husband took me to the ER, and I was given steroids and Pepcid. Finally, the hives went away, and I felt better, so I was discharged and slept for like 4 hours. Woke up with a headache, so I took more Benadryl, which the doctor advised. All this to say, I will not be taking it anymore. I'll wear a scarf until my hair grows back! Not worth it! Plus, they smell so bad, and one night I kept belching that awful taste."

For Dietary Supplementation "Like everyone, wish I had seen this before being on 3 pills per day for about 8 months. I too developed little bumps just here and there. Over the months and too much itching, I am covered with sores. The dermatologist put me on an antibiotic and creams to use. BUT, they just won't go away. The doctor is going to biopsy on my next appointment. Found 7 new bumps on my leg just this morning. I'll stop taking the pills as of today, July 21st, and update if things change. Anyone else experience weight gain?"

For Dietary Supplementation "Do not take this supplement. I took 2 gummies for 3 days. Woke up this morning with hives, redness, and itching on my jawline, eyelids, ears, arms, legs, chest, and back. Ran to the pharmacy for Benadryl. Hoping this will calm down quickly."

For Dietary Supplementation "I used Hair, Skin, and Nails for about a year and started having overall upper body itching: head, arms, back, stomach, breasts, and upper legs. About 9 months ago, I went to the Internet and found untoward reviews of this product and stopped using it. I do not have itching much during the day now, but at about 7:00 p.m. in the evening, I start to itch. I now use Gold Bond and Eumaid at night before going to bed, and it helps a lot. Have not tried Zyrtec, but will do so. Very unfortunate for myself and others who have had so much skin itching with this product."

For Dietary Supplementation "I was taking Nature's Bounty Hair Skin & Nails supplements for a few months. My arms started to itch a lot, and my skin got very flaky and rough. I was associating it with an allergic reaction to something, but it just never went away. I got extremely worried. Reading these reviews now, I realized that these supplements are connected somehow. I stopped taking them in November, but the itch and skin condition have not improved yet (It’s May now). I always had soft and healthy looking skin. Now I look like I have permanent damage."

For Dietary Supplementation "I bought this since my hair was thinning. Took the vitamin for 3 days. In those three days, I developed a rash on my chest and arms (not horrible), but the itching was horrible. Went to the doctor and determined the only thing different that has changed was the vitamin. Stopping taking it and will see how it goes."

For Dietary Supplementation "I started taking the gummy version about three days ago, and yesterday had the itchiest, worst rash ever develop on the top and sides of my feet. Like I was almost in tears because it wouldn’t stop itching. I took Benadryl and put a cool washcloth on top of them, and it seemed to help, but as soon as I woke up today, they were both itching and completely red all over with hives. Do not take this!"

"Been taking the Nature's Bounty Hair Skin & Nails gummies for about 2 weeks. Head is itching like CRAZY all over. Nails are growing great. Noticed I’ve been really tired, like no energy at all. For Dietary Supplementation "DO NOT BUY, LITERALLY THE WORST EVER. I bought these gummies without reading reviews and have taken three, spread across three days. Two days later, I’ve developed the worst condition ALL OVER MY BODY... EVERYWHERE! Big, painful, red, rash-type bumps. I’m not one to cry, but it’s so painful and itchy that I’ve cried and sobbed, and nothing will make it go down. I’ve visited doctors, and nobody could understand what it was. But I’ve discovered it’s these gummies, and if you read the other reviews, it’s not just me! I just hope, hope, hope it disappears by itself as nothing seems to help it!!! NOT PLEASED 0/10"

For Dietary Supplementation "I started taking Nature's Bounty One A Day women’s supplement a little over two weeks ago. Two a day first thing in the morning. This past week my head has been itching like crazy, sore to the touch, and it hurts!! I had my oldest daughter look at my scalp to see if something was wrong. She said my scalp was super dry and flaky, I have NEVER in my life had dandruff! My youngest daughter (16) started taking Nature's Bounty Hair and Nails the same day as me, and she is having the same reaction! We were going crazy thinking maybe it was our water, shampoo, and just trying to figure it out. When my genius 16-year-old came to me and said, “Mom, I was thinking about what we have both been doing, and we are both taking Nature's Bounty!” I came straight online to see if this could be it and find this VERY helpful site! How can they still be selling these?!"

For Dietary Supplementation "I am never taking these again. I bought these about 1-2 weeks ago (2/11/23-2/20/23) and have been taking them every morning. After taking, I started to get a rash on my buttocks, behind my knees, and in between my thighs. I also have eczema, so I was thinking it was maybe a flare-up or just my skin was dry. This does the exact opposite and made my skin incredibly itchy. Now I’m seeing other people say it made their skin so itchy and describing the same side effects, so I’m positive these vitamins are the culprit."

For Dietary Supplementation "I tried the gummies to help with my thinning hair. I finished the first bottle with no observed side effects. Midway through the second bottle, I noticed dull headaches almost every day. Next came the body itch, especially on the face, ears, and scalp. For Dietary Supplementation "I used the vitamin D supplement, and on my second day, I noticed my face was itchy, red, and hot, so I stopped taking them that day. My skin on my face is still hot, itchy, cracked, and flaking like a sunburn almost. I hope this goes away soon. Nature's Bounty seems to have a lot of bad reactions from people using their products."

For Dietary Supplementation "Omg, after taking this supplement, I said to myself, taste good, good price. Then, after about halfway through the bottle, I noticed a lot of itchy scalp problems. Thought it was my hair coloring products. Then it got worse, my face, eyebrows, and around my lips were getting freaking itchy. So I went to my dermatologist, and she said, you're using or eating anything different? I'm like, I don't think so. Then it dawned on me, must be the gummies. And, no kidding, I stopped them, and the itching went away, especially my face. I was so relieved to get answers! So I’m definitely allergic to this product and cannot take it. Hope this helps someone else who's having issues. I was taking 2 gummies every morning with breakfast. So I’ll need to find another brand."
