"I started taking this medicine six days ago, and it has changed my life completely. I can go to the toilet normally (can't remember the last time I could do that), and I no longer wake up in the night for the loo. Up to now, I have had no side effects, BP fine and no tachycardia. I live in the UK, so I just buy a yearly prepaid prescription card to cover the cost. This tablet is a godsend."

Mirabegron "Had prostate removed. Later started to have a painful bladder from referred nerve pain from the nerves that used to go to the prostate. Caused bladder pain over the whole thing, and when pain gets really bad, would maybe leak a little, but the main problem was pain over the bladder, a pressure-type pain. This medication gave relief almost within the first 24 hours. I cannot afford the full price, so checking in with the company to see if they have any programs that help patients. I had zero side effects after taking it for five weeks. After missing one full day, bladder pain is returning as I ran out of the med."

Mirabegron "I had a radical prostatectomy 12 months ago. I just completed radiation therapy. I am presently undergoing hormone treatment injections. All of the above resulted in extreme urinary frequency and urgency. My urologist started me on 25 mg of Myrbetriq 5 weeks ago. The first 4.5 weeks were disappointing, with no improvement noted. Miraculously, on the 4th day of my 5-week course of Myrbetriq, the urgency of my need to urinate literally disappeared. Wow! I am happy."

"This drug worked from day one, allowing me to sleep for more than 6 hours. I've been taking it for one month, but the side effect was losing hair. I stopped for a month, then returned to it because my symptoms came back, but it didn't work the second time."

Mirabegron "Tried it for about two months. It had some effect, I suppose, but the pricing is unconscionable. Even with my insurance and the co-pay assistance, it cost me over $90 per month. Ridiculous. I'd rather wear the pads in my underwear."

"I am 35 and have suffered from an overactive bladder and urethral inflammation for 19 years, voiding close to 20 times during the night, and sometimes over 50 times during a flare. I was prescribed medication for I.C. for years, even though I insisted it was OAB. I took amitriptyline that helped me sleep, but nothing that settled my bladder during the day, until I found mirabegron. Immediately, the symptoms stopped and I didn't have to void for over 3 hours, absolute heaven! I feel normal! My advice, don't let anyone misdiagnose you, research your symptoms, and try the process of elimination until you find something that works. Make sure you read what counteracts with this med, as it could cause side effects, e.g., alcohol and flu tablets for me, that increased frequency."

"Amazing. Had OAB for 22 years. Bladder myomectomy 18 years ago made life sort of possible, but frequency has become worse in recent years. Was given mirabegron last week. After one tablet, I slept through the night for the first time in over 20 years. Been on it for 5 days now - bladder pressure and discomfort greatly eased and have sometimes gone 5 hours without a pee, but regularly manage 3 hours. Before, I could not go more than 90 mins-2 hrs without discomfort or going for a pee. So looking good. No side effects noticed yet either. As I live in Wales, there is no charge for prescription."

"My urologist prescribed me 50mg Mirabegron for my overactive bladder, which at the beginning seemed not to work. I was undertaking bladder training at the same time, and I saw no improvement whatsoever for a couple of months. Since no other medication has worked for me, due to having no side effects and no alternatives, I continued my treatment on Mirabegron. About three months into my treatment, I started having bladder pains, nothing unbearable but noticeable. A couple of weeks after that, I realized that the pains were caused by my bladder expanding, which at the end massively reduced the number of times I go to the toilet. This medication saved my life, and I will continue taking it for however long I need to."

Mirabegron "After awakening and emptying a completely full bladder on myself and the floor, I called my doctor for help. Myrbetriq was prescribed and has worked wonders. Having insurance that wouldn't cover this, I'm unfortunately having to try a different route. :("

Mirabegron "I started taking this medicine because I would have bad pressure on my bottom when I stand up doing anything. Then since I have a lot of health issues, I am on 13 different medicines, which caused me to urinate on myself during the day and while I was sleeping. My bladder would hurt so bad that I would buy AZO cranberry pills to help with some relief, but then that stopped working at all. But after the 3rd day of being on this medicine, I noticed that I was not waking up trying to make it to the bathroom, and the pressure was gone. So as of right now, it is the right medicine for me."

Mirabegron "This drug gave me a myriad of side effects, including bouts of greatly increased urination, which landed me in the ER after having been on it for three weeks. Had blood and urine tests done, and since the doctors could not explain this, I was released and stuck it out with the drug. After five weeks on it, I started experiencing extreme vaginal pain (while on vacation!), accompanied by a real effort to urinate, and when I did, it was painful! Finally, a super awesome gyn realized it was the Myrbetriq, and I got off it, these and other unexplained symptoms dissipated. I believe that because it's supposed to stop frequent urination, after a certain amount of time, it builds up in your system and dries up everything. The pain was horrific. You have to rate the medication, so I had to give it a 1, but my real rating is minus a million. Ladies, especially, beware of this one! I've since taken special note of foods and beverages that trigger OAB, and it's really helping."

Mirabegron "I'm 20 years old and have had issues with my bladder for about a year now. This is the first medication I've taken, and it has done nothing for me. Didn't get any side effects, but didn't see any improvement in my frequency or urgency. Complete dud."

Mirabegron "Began with Myrbetriq (25 mg once per day) about 3 years ago. It was great in the beginning. Gradually stopped working after 2 years later. My doctor upped me to 50 mg per day for one month, then dropped the dosage to one 50 mg pill every other day. Worked well again for a while, but now, after a year of this, it is not as effective - leakage and OAB is returning. For me, it was great at first, but not helpful for long-term use. Issues: pulse higher, facial skin issues, and leg cramps. One last option? Take 50 mg daily?? I fear going this high... and insurance probably won't cover it due to cost. It's ridiculous!"

Mirabegron "I have tried all the D drugs for urge incontinence. This was supposed to be the new miracle drug. Not only did it cost a criminal amount, it didn't work. I still had to wear pads and still was getting up 2-3 times during the night. I see only a very slight difference not taking anything. The worst thing, though, is I have been left with side effects. I took it only 3 months and stopped because my nose dripped ALL the time, and I became hoarse because of the post-nasal drip. Now, three months after my last dose, my nose is still dripping. I don't have allergies, and this is a problem that started with the drug."

Mirabegron "Tried it for 7 weeks... then all went downhill. My pain was increased by 300%. I DISCONTINUED it myself as I couldn't wait for doctor's approval. It was (in the 7th week) the worst drug I ever took, and with diabetes and RA (rheumatoid arthritis) and fibro, that even high doses of (60 mg 3x a day or more) did NOT work. I am now on 45 mg 3x a day and very comfortable at a 3.7 pain level from an 8.5+. Like I said, if you start experiencing bad side effects... S T O P. Thanks for reading. Ta taaaaa."

"Well, can I say? At times, it makes you unable to pee, which is odd. Tummy ache constantly. I don’t recommend it at all, doctors have had me try it twice. It affects your bladder, does help with frequency, but left me feeling very bloated. I stopped it on my own. Overactive bladder (OAB) can be difficult at times. But I feel no treatment is better than all the tablets, drugs, injections in the bladder I’ve tried loads. I’ve found eating pumpkin seeds twice a day working well after just two short weeks. I’m having trouble with BP meds, and they keep affecting my flow! Doctors don’t have a clue about side effects. Good luck, ladies and gents."

"I have been on this medication for 3 weeks, and so far it has been a godsend and given me my life back. The first week was tough, as my bladder was in agony, but it has all paid off now. I still have some bad days, but they are nowhere near as bad as they used to be. I feel 22 again. I recommend anyone to give this a try. I have tried all the other medications, and none of them worked. This has worked wonders for me. Very happy customer!"

Mirabegron "This Myrbetriq caused diarrhea, ocular migraines, headaches, painful urination, and sharp pains in my bladder. I took it for a week and had to discontinue using these pills, the side effects were too intense, painful, and disturbing."

Mirabegron "I have been on this med for less than a month. It has decreased frequency greatly. I was going 14-18 times a day, now 6-8. HOWEVER, dry eyes and blurred vision have become a real concern. I am having to use my reading glasses to see far. Very concerned..."

Mirabegron "Since the beginning of about December, I have been getting up about 8 or 9 times a night to urinate (i.e., increased frequency from about 5 times a night that it had been previously for several years). I have been on this drug for 3 weeks and no improvement (i.e., no reduction in the frequency of urination). Hard to get an answer from my urologist of what to do now. Hard for me to believe that continuing to take it will help. Any thoughts?"

Mirabegron "I’ve been taking this for over a year. Started with 25 mg and no change, after 90 days, up it to 50 mg. It has helped somewhat with frequency, but not the urgency. I have blurry vision (the reason for stopping the first time), and I feel it’s not as effective as it was several months ago. I am considering discontinuing using it. Even with insurance, the copay is expensive."

"I found that this did nothing to help interstitial cystitis and possibly even made it worse. It also cost $70 here in Australia. Do not waste your money. I now just train my bladder during the day if I feel it coming on at night. (Drink loads of water, hold for as long as possible, repeat all day. Stop at about 5 pm.)"

Mirabegron "I was given this medication, 50 mg, to help with leakage. It went from helping a little to making things worse quickly, and now I am having problems with constant leaking and a poor stream. I would welcome my original problem!!!"

Mirabegron "I may have only taken 1 dose of this medication but cannot do the side effects. I couldn't sleep, it made my restless leg start up even though I am on great medication for my RLS. The nausea, vomiting, and awful taste in my mouth were so wrong that I refuse to take another. I was on oxybutynin, but after years of being on that, it quit working, so I was put on Myrbetriq. Do not recommend this drug."

Mirabegron "I was on this for a month. Loved it. My symptoms went away immediately. Then after the sample dosage ran out, my insurance refused to cover it. Tried other meds, but none have worked. Would love to keep taking this, but can't afford it without insurance."
