For Emergency Contraception "After having unprotected sex, Plan B One-Step is usually my go-to emergency contraceptive. However, upon arriving at the pharmacy, there was none available, but next to it were two Aftera pills. I was very skeptical because I've never heard about this brand. Because I wanted something immediately, I decided to purchase this drug and took it approximately 15 hours after having unprotected sex. Here I am, three weeks later with abdominal cramps. I went to the doctor today, where I found out I was pregnant. I had a feeling I was because my body felt different: bloated, unusual abdominal cramps, and dizziness. I would not recommend this pill to anyone! Very disappointing that it didn't work. I've taken Plan B even later than 24 hours and it has worked. Be careful, ladies, and good luck!"

For Emergency Contraception "I have taken other morning-after pills with no side effects whatsoever. I had sex a few days before my predicted ovulation day and got Aftera to save money. I began to lightly spot and have ovarian pain. I was worried that these were possibly ovulation symptoms, but the spotting became heavy bleeding weeks before my expected period and moderate to severe cramping. I have been having clots and having gushes of blood which immediately fill up pads. I'm sure that Aftera worked, but it also made me bleed heavily and abnormally, which I have never experienced with morning-after pills before."

For Emergency Contraception "Do NOT take Aftera. All these people saying it worked are only saying it because they were going to get their periods anyway. 'Period came as scheduled'... a day after the pill, your period should come 2 to 3 days after taking the pill with lots of cramping. The first time I took it, I got pregnant. The second time, NO CRAMPING STILL = NOT WORKING. Spend a little more for Plan B."

For Emergency Contraception "I took Aftera on the 27th of March after having planned unprotected sex with my husband. I didn't really experience any major side effects other than headaches and cramping here and there for 2 days, and then after that, it went away. I still haven't had my period and I'm 3 weeks late. I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it came back negative. I haven't had any symptoms of pregnancy, but it worries me that my period should have come by now and it still hasn't. I have a doctor's appointment set up for this Friday, hopefully, I'm not pregnant."

For Emergency Contraception "So about 3 weeks ago I took Aftera. This was my first time taking any kind of morning pill. My boobs have grown so much, and they’re sore, they’ve been so sore after I took that pill. I was supposed to get my period yesterday, but nothing. I’m cramping, but I don’t know if I’m pregnant."

For Emergency Contraception "Lower abdominal cramping and tightness - period came over a week late and gave me a heart attack with the waiting (not literally!)"

For Emergency Contraception "I have taken Aftera a few times, and it's always worked! I usually just get a headache the day after taking it, along with mild cramps, but nothing too bad."
