For Uterine Fibroids "I have had like 8 fibroids, super big, started in March 2015, started bleeding, blood clots. I was close to 50 years old, so I found a study, and she recommended Lupron. I'm not gonna lie, had 3 shots, my hair fell out - it's gone, but for the pain I'm in right now, might have to get my 4th shot. This situation changes your lifestyle 100%. Horrible uterus pain is unbelievable. My hot flash/cold flash, worst are without Lupron."

For Prostate Cancer "Overwhelming, suffocating hot flashes that cause instant full-body sweating. This has caused disruption to all aspects of each day (whether at work, at leisure time, or bedtime). This drug causes weight gain regardless of exercise intensity. It has completely stopped all sex drive or interest. It has caused genital shrinkage and, at times, discomfort. I have unusual fatigue and muscle atrophy. I have been getting the drug for a year and a half. I will not be able to tolerate any more of this drug. It has kept my testosterone level at near undetectable levels."

For Prostate Cancer "Some hot flashes for short periods when thinking hard and only for maybe 2 or 3 minutes. Zero sex drive. Maybe joint pain. Maybe less energy. PSA at 0.25 after 3 or 4 months. There is some merit in not wanting to have sex often for that has been cured."

For Prostate Cancer "Diagnosed with prostate cancer with a Gleason 7, PSA 8.2. Received a 6-month Lupron shot on Nov 15, 2022, and 20 sessions of radiation starting Jan. 18, 2023. I have suffered hot flashes several times a day and night, and they have become more intense in the last 6 weeks, by that, I mean I get completely soaked several times a day and night. I have gained around 20 pounds, have a loss of muscle strength, neuropathy in my hands, bone pains in my feet, back pain, mood swings, and lack of motivation to get moving. I do ride my bicycle several times a week, about 100-plus miles, and this is how I keep my sanity. Last appointment with the doctor was on May 15."

For Uterine Fibroids "I’ve had Lupron Depot for six months, with no reduction in the size of my fibroids. It wasn’t hell with Lupron Depot, but my sex life was non-existent, the heat flashes were constant, and it didn’t help the various pains I was experiencing from my large uterine fibroid (>10 cm). I also noticed that my knees got weak, and I constantly had back pain. I’m 29 years old, so this is alarming."

For Prostate Cancer "I am taking this drug along with 10 mg of Prednisone, so some of my symptoms may be from either drug. I've been taking Lupron Depot for four months and the prednisone for eight months. Hot flashes, 15-20 per day. Lasting 3-4 minutes. Dizziness, but much better since I stopped taking Flomax. Weight gain, always hungry. Prednisone does this to me. Fainting, may be dehydrated at times. A bit of chest pain, but not serious."

For Uterine Fibroids "Update from post Sept 23. It's been over 1 month since my Lupron shot, and I have been bleeding continuously since Sept 21st. On and off from light spotting to filling pads every 30 minutes with large clots. I can tell the shot has affected my hormones as I get hot flashes through the night to the point of sweating, I lose my train of thought and I forget easily. My Gyno just told me to increase iron intake from 150 to 300 and take TXA when needed. I completed 3 iron IVs to help build my blood. Hopefully, I will stop bleeding for my surgery on Nov 14th."

For Prostate Cancer "1 year on Lupron 3-month shots after I had prostate removed with 1 spot of cancer spreading to hip 5 months after removal. 3 hits of radiation cleared spot. PSA undetectable for 1 year now with hot flashes only side effect, but now knee and ankle ligament sensitivity like hitting the funny bone... little numbness starting in the same areas. I'm considering a vacation until a PSA rise? Risky but don't want more damage in legs and hope it will reverse some? Been taking fenbendazole, Joe Tippins Protocol, over the same year. Good luck to all during your life's journey and see ya on the other side ✨️"

For Endometriosis "I am a 22-year-old Black woman who started taking this injection in February after undergoing diagnostic surgery for endometriosis. I don't know what stage of endo I'm in, but it has spread to my intestines, liver, ovaries, and bladder. When I was informed about the injection, I read about its effects, so I'm not surprised, but it doesn't make me feel any less miserable. I experience severe hot flashes day and night, weight gain, and a severely decreased libido. Fortunately, I haven't felt any joint pain yet, but I hope I never do. I'm scheduled for the second dose, but I'm on the fence about continuing due to my decreased libido and weight gain. This injection is affecting my self-esteem, but I can't handle being in pain for 13 days every month. Although I still had a period every month, my last one was the worst, with heavy bleeding, extreme bloating, and gastrointestinal pain. If you're informed about this injection, choose to use it wisely."

For Endometriosis "Just got my second 1-month Depot shot yesterday. I can't say I like it, but it's also not terrible. I have had hot flashes at night or sometimes during the day. I wake up more often at night, usually because of hot flashes or sweating. I am not used to feeling warm, I rather feel cold quickly. Kind of nice to feel warm actually. Definitely not horrible. Didn't gain any weight so far, had definite some sugar and carb cravings, but switched to a sugar-free, low-carb diet and feel much better on it. Also, working out daily helps. I've had one real breakdown moment a couple of weeks ago, but I am also in a difficult life-changing situation, so I wouldn't completely blame it on the drug. However, that was one day, and then I was feeling okay again. I've had joint pain in my elbows and a few headaches (I never have headaches), and I feel vaginal dryness. Definitely felt increased libido the first two weeks. All in all, not too bad. No idea if it's working yet, but I'm hopeful and would do it again."

For Endometriosis "I have stage 4 endo with adenomyosis and large fibroids. I’m currently awaiting my 3rd dose of the Lupron injection. It hasn’t been a bad experience; just body aches, bad hot flashes, and night sweats. No real weight gain, actually lost 6 pounds since I started the injection. After my first injection, I had a minor period, and for my second injection, no period or pain. Coming into the 3rd injection being due, I’m starting to experience endo pain. Think I’m only going to do one round of Lupron."
