Lenalidomide "First time I took Revlimid, I also took a steroid. I was taken off the steroid when my face turned red till it finally got up to my eyes. Taking Revlimid then on, I did not have any reactions. On it for 10 years, I was taken off when my m-protein was at 0.2 standstill. Off for 6 months, I was started on lenalidomide and had terrible itchiness! I waited to be able to get the next refill of Revlimid. I had such a good response till 2 capsules of Revlimid were taken this time, I have little spots rather than the large areas I had on lenalidomide."

"Started on lenalidomide in 2017 after a stem cell transplant - 5 mg 21/28. This went well until early this year (2025). My main problem was chronic diarrhea and pain. I managed initially for many years with loperamide until I realized that the codeine in the Emtec I was taking for pain had a side effect of constipation. So I dropped the loperamide and take 2 to 4 Emtec 300-30 a day. It does double duty for pain relief (especially at night) and counteracts the diarrhea. Recently, my cancer specialist increased my lenalidomide to 10 mg 28/26 as a so-called maintenance dose (sic!). On Day 8 of my cycle, I started to experience chest pains (upper left) and went to emergency. Nothing could be found by cardiology or oncology, so I was released 36 hrs later (but still had occasional chest pains). I changed my intake of lenalidomide to 10 mg every other day, an effective average equivalent to 5 mg 28/28. I feel much better, it's now Day 15 of my cycle."
