"Arixtra 7.5 mg injectable has been a godsend for me. I have been on it for 7 years and have not experienced any blood clots during that time. The needles that are used are as small as the ones used for diabetic medication. They do not hurt at all. It comes in prefilled syringes with the needles already on them, so they're very convenient. They also retract back into the syringe, so you do not need a sharps container. All in all, it is the best medication I have been on to prevent blood clots."
