For Allergic Rhinitis "I'm allergic to dust and a couple more things. My doctor prescribed this drug to me, which is a steroid. It didn't help me at all. It dried my nose, and I couldn't breathe. The side effects were horrible. I had horrible headaches, nausea, insomnia, and body aches. I will never use this product again. I will break it into pieces!"

For Allergic Rhinitis "After being diagnosed with environmental allergies, my doctor recommended this OTC med to ease congestion, and I have been using it off and on (mostly off) for 3-4 years. Helps you breathe, but at a high cost for me. Two months ago in the fall, I began using it every night, and within a couple of weeks, started experiencing a cough, dry mouth and throat, and a swollen tongue, felt like my throat was closing up, trouble swallowing. This is when my doctor recommended I see a gastroenterologist. I have also had headaches and upper back pain that was excruciating. I am appalled that this med is OTC. It's a steroid, and the doctor did not warn me at all! I did finally go see a gastroenterologist because of all this, and they said it might be GERD, but I highly doubt that now. I stopped this med and feel much better already. Why no doctor has linked my use of Flonase and my symptoms is unbelievable. Use at your own risk! I can just use saline and deal with some congestion."

Fluticasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "Flonase sucks. The first two days I used it, I thought it was the greatest thing ever invented because my horrible allergies finally seemed to clear up. I forgot to take it one day and woke up in the middle of the night with a stopped-up nose, so I took Flonase again as soon as I woke up. It was very ineffective that time. I got horrible headaches, insanely itchy eyes, a sore throat, and my mouth and lips were constantly dry. It has been a week since I've vowed to never use Flonase again, and I still have the worst smell in my nose and mouth from that stupid allergy 'reliever.' If you're wondering if you should hop in your car, make the trip out, and purchase Flonase, I will let you know right now that that is the biggest mistake."

Fluticasone nasal "I’ve been prescribed the generic form of Flonase for years, it has been a lifesaver for me. On 8/1/21, I got my prescription from Kroger, and I noticed the bottle was labeled differently, and it has a different taste or smell. But the worst part of this is I can’t sleep at night. I still had half a bottle of the original generic brand Kroger used for years, and I was fine until it was gone. Now I’m left with sleepless nights. Kroger has obviously gone for the cheapest product, but it's not working. I have massive headaches with it, and not being able to sleep is ruining my life."

For Allergic Rhinitis "After reading the comments, I now understand why my heart was racing and I couldn't sleep. I knew the headaches were a side effect, but I legitimately ended up in the emergency room six times in three weeks. They couldn't find anything on me, and I kept telling them the meds I was taking. They told me to take the entire bottle until it was done. I stopped for a few days at first, and I began feeling a bit better. Then a doctor told me to spray it sideways in my nose. Two days later, my symptoms are back, and my heart is racing and my head is pounding to the point I went to walk and get some fresh air. This had been setting off my anxiety and panic attacks back to back, and I thought I was dying. I will not be taking fluticasone again, and the fact the doctors did not mention this to me. I lost so much sleep and couldn't eat. I lost 17 pounds and am struggling to eat again. Would not recommend."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I've been taking this medicine for the last week after a prescription from my doctor. I have many side effects like cough, trouble breathing, head pain, etc. It is not an effective medicine for my rhinitis, and more it is costly..."

For Rhinitis "Saw a continually stuffed nose, fluticasone nasal was prescribed. It worked great for 6 months, but during that time, starting maybe the third month, I developed daily headaches, some severe. Stopped using it to see if it is the spray causing them. Fingers crossed... I think! I was having two sprays in each nostril once daily."

For Rhinitis "Was prescribed this a few years ago. I suffer from severe panic disorder and generalized anxiety disorder. I was told that I had a sinus infection. Started taking this. I would take it for a few weeks out of the year, and if I had symptoms, I'd take it again, so I never took it constantly. A year ago, I told my doctor I was experiencing shortness of breath, just randomly. She asked me if I was taking my Flonase. So I started taking it again. She never told me to stop taking it, so I've been taking it for about a year straight. I stopped taking it recently because I read that it lowers immunity, and with COVID going around, I don't need that. Fast forward 3 days and wow, I'm experiencing fatigue... brain fog. Headache. I hope it goes away because it's REALLY annoying."

Fluticasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "Cleared my sinuses right up, but gave me five other problems: headaches, joint soreness, rapid heart rate, shortness of breath, blurred vision. This stuff is going right in the garbage can."

For Allergic Rhinitis "It gave me a headache. It does nothing, no effect at all after use. On top of that, it is very expensive for nasal spray, and other products cheaper, like Nasonex, do the job very well."

For Nasal Polyps "I've had allergies to hay fever in Michigan, moved to California, and still have sinus problems. My GP prescribed Flonase about 2 years ago, and I recently, within the last 2 months, have been using it faithfully and regularly. I would have this catarrh or a constant need to clear my throat, feeling that there is something blocked and a stuffy nose that I can't clear, and sometimes pressure headaches. Eventually, after a couple of days of hacking, coughing, snorting, I would cough out this small mass. Have to go through this every few days. But the Flonase or fluticasone really helps with breathing and pushing these nasal polyps out. So I use my fluticasone every day, sure does make my life and sleeping much better."
