"If you are searching for a birth control with no side effects... this Tri-Linyah is NOT the one for you! I started Tri-Linyah almost a year ago, and I sooo regret staying on it for that long. I originally got on this pill for extremely painful periods. It only helped with my periods for about 3 months. After that, the pain was worse... almost more painful than before. And my mood swings... out of the roof! My relationship with my friends, boyfriend, and family suffered from it greatly. I constantly battled between feeling emotionless or absolutely furious—there was no in-between. The only time I was able to actually feel happy, or just normal, was during the week of my period where I was not taking a hormonal pill. I wish I would have read into this pill a lot more before I got on it. The only pro from this pill was no babies!"

"Listen up ladies, this pill is not for everyone because we all have different bodies. Although, I wanted to share my experience. I previously had the copper IUD which made my periods complete hell. I would use super tampons like crazy and had to miss work several times because of menstrual cramps. (I've never given birth & don't recommend that type of BC) anyways. The first week of switching I was super nauseous. But this feeling is 100% better to me than the cramps. The nausea subsided a month in and I'm on month two. On my first period after changing my periods are back to normal, light but around 4-5 days, and I haven't had a single cramp! I originally looked for reviews because I believe my breasts are also growing and I'm 21 and a smaller cup size, so I wanted to know if anyone else had the same experience. Good luck you all <3"

"I've switched between different generic versions of Ortho tri cyclen, and this is not my favorite. I have terrible cystic acne, and it did help a LOT with that. But it did nothing at all for my periods. My periods without birth control caused me to be in a haze, nausea, vomiting, terrible cramping, and heavy bleeding. With Tri-Linyah, it was mostly the same! The other generic pills I tried at least eased my periods so that they were bearable. On Tri-Linyah I also didn't know what to expect, some periods would be longer, start at different times, or be lighter/heavier. I'm not sure how different generic medications of the same type can really be, but I noticed this one was definitely different."
