For Female Infertility "I am pregnant. I am over 45 and have been trying for 7 years since the last MC. My doctor prescribed Clomid 200 mg days 2-6. He said to baby dance 1 week from the first day of my first Clomid dose, which we did, every other day starting on CD9. I had severe hot flashes, sweating, mood swings, and blurry vision even after a week of stopping it. Well, I had only 1 OPK, no OPK was available in stock to track ovulation, and my basal thermometer all of a sudden was broken. The one I did had 1 light-medium line. I could not continue monitoring to see if the line was getting darker. It was as if God was telling me to just trust Him in this whole process. We just did DD every other day. Well, on CD 29, I took a pregnancy test, it was positive!!!!! I praise God for answering my prayers."

For Female Infertility "I'm 31 years old. Been trying to get pregnant for 5 years already. I'm taking Clomid this month, my ovulation starts this week. But I've been feeling so weird, like I have all the side effects lately. I did Clomid in the past and it didn't work, not even with the side effects. Does that mean this time it is working because I've been feeling all types of ways, nauseous, dizzy, tired, sleepy, insomnia, indigestion, body aches, emotional... does this happen to you before getting pregnant or ovulating?"

For Female Infertility "I'm on day 4 of taking the 50 mg clomiphene. I have one more day to take it, then I gotta have sex on the days my OB wrote down. For a week, I've been getting migraines, and I've been emotional, crying over things I didn't think I'd be crying over. I've been getting really hot lately. Can someone please tell me if these are side effects from the medicine or if it is a possibility I could be pregnant? I'm 19 years old. My fiancé and I have been trying to get pregnant for over a year and had no luck, and in 2019, I was pregnant with twins and had vanishing twin syndrome and a miscarriage at ten weeks. I'm really hoping this medicine works for us and that I can have a healthy pregnancy."

For Female Infertility "My husband and I have been trying to conceive for the past 2.5 years, had one miscarriage, and after that, I have had no success. I also have PCOS. I am on my first cycle of Clomid 50 mg, hoping I get a blessing at the end of my first cycle! I am having mood swings the past day or so, getting very emotional over small things, lol! Good luck to everyone! We will get there eventually!"

For Ovulation Induction "On my 3rd month of Clomid. (Last one) I am really hoping this would be the month. I only noticed 2 significant side effects from 2 months taking it: I get so bloated for like 3-4 days around ovulation time, plus very emotional. I cried a lot. Good luck to us! Hope we all have success stories to tell."

For Ovulation Induction "I want to review Clomid and Metformin because other people's reviews gave me hope, and I want to pay it back. About me: I am 32, UK-based, TTC for nearly 3 years, 1 miscarriage during that time, PCOS, and high AMH levels. I began taking 50g Clomid (with 1000g Metformin) in September 2021 to induce ovulation, and it worked for me the first time. I did not get pregnant that month, but blood tests confirmed that for the first time in a long time, I had ovulated. I took the same dose in October 2021, and I am currently 5 weeks pregnant!! For me, Clomid has been a true blessing. I took it on days 2-6 of my cycle (starting on the second day of my period) and always just before bed to try and avoid the worst of the side effects. I did get some hot flushes and vaginal dryness, and the second month I was exceptionally emotional/irritable, but TBH I think that was more about the stress of trying to conceive than the actual medication! Good luck to everyone on this journey xxx."

For Female Infertility "My husband and I have been trying to conceive number 2 for 9 months. I have PCOS and was not ovulating on my own. My husband's tests also showed a low sperm count. Our first pregnancy was planned and conceived the first week of trying. This time has been much harder and very trying. My specialist recommended either Clomid or straight to IVF. I have been taking Clomid for 3 months, first month 50 mg did nothing and second month took 100 mg and ovulated but did not conceive. I definitely know when I ovulated while taking Clomid, it was very obvious. Just finished round 3, 100 mg. Also had side effects on Clomid such as hot flushes, mood swings, and dizziness. Very emotional this time round. Fingers crossed."

For Female Infertility "Had a missed miscarriage at 10 weeks, and it’s been 8 months trying to get pregnant again. Started Clomid 50 mg, didn’t get pregnant. I stopped for a month and started another dose of 100 mg on January 12th to 16th. My side effects were mood swings, hot flashes, and mild headache, which stopped after the last Clomid. Well, I am on cycle day 28, been having period-like cramps, sore and bigger nipples, always horny, a bit of fatigue, which makes me a little lazy. I pray I get a positive test this time. Baby dust to us all."

For Ovulation Induction "My husband and I are both 35 and have been trying to conceive naturally for 7 months. He has a low sperm count, I have irregular cycles or heavy ones. So my doctor put me on Clomid 50 mg for 5 days, took my first round on day 4 of my cycle, and finished the first round. We are now trying each and every day. Symptoms I've had are hot flushes, mood swings, fatigue, slight headaches, and now and then stomach cramps. I have lower back pain, started to get pimples, and started to get hunger pains in the morning. Later, after eating, I still feel hungry (don't know if that's normal). Today is the 8th day after my cycle, and my next period, according to my calendar, starts 22 days from now. I'm really hoping and praying that we conceive on the first round and miss my cycle. We really want our first baby, and I want to surprise him with a positive result. Any advice and tips on symptoms from the medicine and after taking it on the first go?"
