For Ovulation Induction "I just completed my first 5-day cycle of Clomid. My story is a little different than most I’ve read, I have pretty regular periods and I do ovulate, but I keep having miscarriages, and now since my last one in January, I am now having trouble getting pregnant. My doctor prescribed I take it starting on day 5 of my menstrual cycle. No bad side effects, I did have a headache and a little fatigue. Now I go back to my doctor on Friday for an ultrasound, not really sure what to expect. I’m so intrigued. I’m really hoping we get pregnant. Praying for everyone’s success with Clomid and healthy, happy babies. Thanks for listening."

For Female Infertility "Have been TTC for 2.5 years. Got complete tests done, and everything is normal for both of us. Doc prescribed 50 mg Clomid for the first cycle and HCG trigger shot a day before ovulation. Ovulated but got my period. On my second cycle currently, took the HCG shot already, 2 follicles are matured, with 19 mm and 20 mm. Now waiting for 15 days for the BFP. Hope to get through this time. Though the side effects were too bad for me: hot flashes, crying for no reason, nausea, and fatigue."

For Ovulation Induction "I took Clomid for the first time days 5-9, and the side effects are the worst! I already have heart problems, so I thought that's what was going on. I went to the ER for severe chest pain, and all tests were negative. After researching, I realize it's bad indigestion. I also have Fibro and am used to back pain, but Clomid gave me the worst back pain I've ever felt, along with nausea and migraines. I have to lay down or walk hunched over to relieve some pain. I've also been extremely fatigued. I had to nap 3 times a day for a few hours and still feel exhausted. My uterus feels so sore and heavy. I'm on cycle day 15 and still showing a flashing (OPK) Ovulation Predictor Kit. Hopefully, tomorrow is peak day so I can get pregnant already!"

For Female Infertility "Had a missed miscarriage at 10 weeks, and it’s been 8 months trying to get pregnant again. Started Clomid 50 mg, didn’t get pregnant. I stopped for a month and started another dose of 100 mg on January 12th to 16th. My side effects were mood swings, hot flashes, and mild headache, which stopped after the last Clomid. Well, I am on cycle day 28, been having period-like cramps, sore and bigger nipples, always horny, a bit of fatigue, which makes me a little lazy. I pray I get a positive test this time. Baby dust to us all."

For Ovulation Induction "My husband and I are both 35 and have been trying to conceive naturally for 7 months. He has a low sperm count, I have irregular cycles or heavy ones. So my doctor put me on Clomid 50 mg for 5 days, took my first round on day 4 of my cycle, and finished the first round. We are now trying each and every day. Symptoms I've had are hot flushes, mood swings, fatigue, slight headaches, and now and then stomach cramps. I have lower back pain, started to get pimples, and started to get hunger pains in the morning. Later, after eating, I still feel hungry (don't know if that's normal). Today is the 8th day after my cycle, and my next period, according to my calendar, starts 22 days from now. I'm really hoping and praying that we conceive on the first round and miss my cycle. We really want our first baby, and I want to surprise him with a positive result. Any advice and tips on symptoms from the medicine and after taking it on the first go?"
