For Bacterial Vaginosis "Okay. I went to urgent care a few days ago basically with burning and itching down there. The doctor said it could be a yeast infection or BV (which annoyed me because why aren’t you sure), so she gave me the yeast one-time pill and the BV cream. I was so scared because this is the first time dealing with something like this! ALL BECAUSE OF AMOXICILLIN!! Anyway, so I've been using the cream for 3 days so far, and I was prescribed it for 5 days. It’s honestly less itching and burning, BUT I still feel a tad itchy at times. It is VERY annoying. But I’m also not completely done with the dose, so we’ll see. The only thing I hate right now is how I can’t have sex for two weeks HAAHA."

For Bacterial Vaginosis "My doctor prescribed me this medication to treat my BV. I was experiencing some odor and very little discharge. He prescribed me the 3-day dose and was surprised that it only came with one syringe. Day one of insertion was horrible, the syringe is not quite handy as the pill would get stuck in the syringe. After finally inserting the dose, I felt as if burning acid had been inserted into my vagina. It was horrible, the burning did not stop until 10 minutes later, which felt like an eternity. The second night of insertion, there was still a burning sensation but somewhat bearable compared to the first night. The third night was back to the burning acid feeling, but so bad that I almost wanted to head into the hospital. I do not recommend this med!"

For Bacterial Vaginosis "I was terrified after reading reviews of clindamycin vaginal for BV. I'm on the 7-day treatment. I'm on the second dose and no burning, no itching, etc. A little uncomfortable the first 10 minutes after insertion, but that's it. I recommend this over more systematic antibiotics that can have some horrible side effects."

For Bacterial Vaginosis "This was my first time taking any vaginal cream or suppository, and I wish I didn’t. I should have used what I was used to. I get BV very often, and when the symptoms started, I called the teledoc number my insurance covers. The doctor prescribed me the Clindamycin, and I’ve been having horrible side effects ever since. It has been over a week now, and I have burning sensations and irritation. I may have a yeast infection now. Will definitely go to urgent care."

For Acne "Used for 3 months as directed by my doctor. Initially, I had a really bad rash, but I persisted, and my skin did become less sensitive to the product. It feels like it is burning once applied, but this feeling goes away in a few minutes. I had the clearest and smoothest skin ever when I was on it, but this did not last and eventually went back to 'normal' and potentially got even worse after the 3 months. Although I never irritated or dried out my skin because I was on top of my moisturizer, I was also worried about the effects of the alcohol in the product."

For Bacterial Vaginosis "I've had two rounds of treatment of clindamycin applications to treat my recurring BV. My first round felt like it didn't completely cure all the symptoms during my 10-day course, but most symptoms subsided. Three to four weeks later, my BV came back with a vengeance. My second round of treatment was for 7 days with an additional prescription of Diflucan to treat yeast. Normally, I'll start feeling better within 2 days of the course of treatment, but I never felt any of my symptoms got away except the itching, which I think the Diflucan resolved. I experienced mild burning, cramping, fatigue, and diarrhea the entire time taking clindamycin. Spoke with my GYN by day 3, and she said to continue treatment and I should get better. Then, I spoke with her on my last day and told her my symptoms felt worse, even having an odor I didn't have initially, as well as burning and discharge. Now she's prescribed me a steroid ointment to mask the symptoms but not treat the BV."

Clindamycin topical for Bacterial Vaginosis "My doctor prescribed Clindesse, and a few days after I used it, I started having vaginal discomfort of burning and itching when I used the bathroom. I have called my doctor's office, and they haven't gotten back to me on what else to use."

For Bacterial Vaginosis "I am now on day 6 of clindamycin for BV, and I haven't noticed a difference. I still have a smell, but not like fish, just a smell you can still smell. At this point, I have tried metro gel and pills, but nothing. I will be going back to my doctor soon. I haven't experienced any itching or burning, just a smell that won't go away."
