Chlordiazepoxide "I am so grateful to have been prescribed this medication! I have been having panic attacks a lot recently, so bad that I’ve called 911 (3) times in the past 2 1/2 weeks because I was certain I was dying and there was something medically wrong. I felt unheard because I genuinely did not believe they were panic attacks, I truly felt there was something wrong. Along with the panic attacks, I was having anxiety 24/7. I just did not feel like myself. I couldn’t do the things I loved to do, like cooking, shopping, cleaning, literally anything. I was pretty much bedridden and going into a very dark place. Brain fog, confusion, clammy skin, fast heart rate or palpitations, and I was just scared to stand up because I thought I’d black out or faint. My doctor prescribed me this medication today, and I was so hesitant to take it. (I don’t like pills, even Tylenol) but I took it, and it made a world of a difference. I feel like myself again, finally. 100/10"

"I have been on daily benzodiazepine medications for anxiety almost my entire adult life. I'm 35 now, and I find that long-acting benzos work better because they have fewer ups and downs during the day. Over the summer of 2023, I made an attempt to taper off benzo meds (Diazepam at the time) that I had been taking daily since Jan 2020. I asked my doctor about Chlordiazepoxide due to the fact it was the same thing but less potent by mg. Needless to say, I gave up on the taper after 2 months of total discomfort. However, I found a benzo that had all the positive anxiety-relieving effects with none of the brain fog issues. I'm now up to and stable on 5mg T.I.D. I think Librium is underrated. If you are going to be on a benzo daily, this is probably the least harsh out of all of them. I strongly recommend this as opposed to some of the newer benzos. I am grateful to have a compassionate physician who is willing to prescribe the medicine to help me stay stable."

Chlordiazepoxide "My spouse drove me to the ER after I had a major panic attack. I was given 50 mg of Librium, and under 1/2 hour, I became relieved from the attack. After 1 to 2 hours, I had felt much more secure."

Chlordiazepoxide "So I went to the ER and was given Librium and Zofran for the nausea. It worked great 'til about 3 pm the next day. I still have to take it, but not as often."

Chlordiazepoxide "This is a terrible drug for anxiety. It literally does nothing to give you relief from the symptoms of anxiety."

Chlordiazepoxide "Yesterday I went to the doctor because of chest pain and anxiety. My doctor recommended this Librium 10 mg medicine, but when I take it, automatically my whole body is ready for sleep, and in the afternoon, my breathing problem increases, why, I don't know."
