For Eye Redness "These drops accelerated my heart rate and made me feel awful! They put me to sleep within an hour of using them. Yes, they whitened my eyes a lot but also made them feel irritated, dry and blurry. They remained so blurry that I visited my GP who said that they should never have been made available OTC."

For Eye Redness "I had been using the Lumify twice a day for nearly 11 months, under our eye doctor's recommendation. Imagine a swollen, red-eyed raccoon. It's also recurring on and off for the past 2 months. I had to do 2 short rounds of prednisone, but both times it came back. Now trying a longer bout with the prednisone, and hoping for better results. Halo lights, runny nose, blocked sinuses with cheek and ear pain. Needless to say, I'm no longer going to use this product."

For Eye Redness "My eye Dr. gave me a free sample of Lumify to try for my dry eye problems. I put one drop in each eye and they instantly turned bright white. At first, I thought Lumify was a miracle worker, and I was prepared to spend $20 on the tiny bottle. But about an hour later, my eyes felt more dry and everything seemed very bright, similar to when you get your eyes dilated. The next day, I did not use the drops, and my eyes are more dry and red than usual. After experiencing this and reading other negative reviews, I will definitely not buy this product."

For Eye Redness "This really does make my eyes white. At first, I thought the only problem was there are very few drops in the bottle. After about three weeks of using it a couple of times a week, my vision is very blurred, and I had to buy reading glasses. I had already bought a new bottle, so I tried using it again. My eyes started burning and watering. The blurred vision has not gone away, and I have discontinued using the product. It does make your eyes very white, but for me, the side effects are just too great. Hope my vision gets better soon."

For Glaucoma, Open Angle "After cataract surgery, my eye pressure became elevated and took a long time to get it lower. The eye doctor also said it looked like the muscles around the eye resembled glaucoma and put me on Alphagan for two months. Three weeks on the medicine, my eyes became very sensitive to bright lights, irritated and inflamed with blurred vision. I was put on several other types of eye drops, but they all made it worse, and it has been 7 months since with no relief."

For Eye Redness "I love this product. It eliminates redness immediately. I use Restasis for dry eye, a very expensive prescription eye drop that doesn't work as well as Lumify. My ophthalmologist approved it. My only issue is that the caps on the bottle don't open very easily. I have contacted Bausch and Lomb, who said this is a recurrent problem. Be prepared to use tools to open them. Also, the larger bottle is exactly the same size as the smaller bottle - so odd."

For Eye Redness "After using Lumify, I noticed a dramatic increase in floaters, my vision wasn’t as clear, and I had a headache. I am certain the symptoms occurred as a direct result of using these eye drops. Unacceptable."

For Eye Redness "Each time I use my expensive little Lumify eyedrops, I experience itchy eyes. At first, they look amazing. Each time I use them (sparingly), the clear white eyes last fewer and fewer hours, to now minutes. Then the itching and redness begins. Too good to be true in my case. Definitely will not use again. So bummed."

For Eye Redness "I heard about how white they make your eyes, and I used to use Visine when my eyes got red, so I thought how great it would be. They made my eyes extremely sensitive to light that it almost hurt. So the second time I used them was on a day that I knew I wouldn't be driving. The same thing happened, and even wearing dark sunglasses didn't help. I wish that I had kept the receipt and that I had bought the smaller bottle. I really wanted to like Lumify, but would not recommend them to anybody."

For Eye Redness "I listed Lumify on drugs used when I went to the eye specialist. She asked who told me to use Lumify, and I said I read about them and went immediately and bought them. She said she couldn't believe these had made it to market because one of the ingredients is used for glaucoma. Told me to stop taking immediately!"

For Eye Redness "While Lumify cleared the redness from my allergy-laden eyes, I have since experienced blurred vision. My vision prior to using Lumify was 20/15. Now it's 20/80. I visited my ophthalmologist almost two weeks ago to be treated for the blurred vision and am now on steroid eye drops. The condition hasn't much improved. Please carefully read the side effects before using this product."

For Eye Redness "I have brown eyes, so I was enticed from the commercial anyways. I bought this product, Lumify, a year ago, and my vision has never been the same. Ever. Prior to that, I had my eyes checked. I went back to the ophthalmologist for a recheck and had to get a different script for reading glasses, as well as driving. Two pairs! I am 45 years old and feel like I have 80-year-old eyes. I would never recommend this. Ever. I will look into LASIK surgery, although I am sure it's quite expensive but hopefully worth it."

For Eye Redness "I just used it for the first time this morning, and immediately my eyes started watering and burning. I felt like someone had thrown sand in my eyes, and my nose is itchy. Although it made my eyes completely white, I will not be using it again. I purchased it at Costco, so thank goodness I can get my money back. I will be letting my eye doctor know, as they recommended this product. Still waiting to put my contacts in."

For Eye Redness "I've been using these drops for over a month. I have light blue eyes that are always red. At first, I loved how white it made my eyes. The only thing I noticed was watery, sticky eyes for hours after. The past 2 weeks, I've had itchy, worse, watery, sticky eyes and headaches every day. This prompted me to read the reviews. Wasn't shocked to hear most people had the same. The fact that it affects many people the same way or worse is enough proof that this product should be removed from sale."

For Eye Redness "I had a little redness in my eye on Sunday, woke up Monday, my entire whites in my right eye was dark red all over. Immediately went to the eye doctor and was told that I had a hemorrhage in my eye, blood vessel burst. I had only used Lumify a couple of times, and I used it on Sunday."

For Eye Redness "Same effect as Visine, but one major difference. I normally use Visine. I put Visine in one eye and Lumify in the other for comparison. No difference noticed. Both took redness out and moisturized, with Visine giving slightly better moisture. So, I went on vacation and packed both Visine and Lumify. One morning I used Lumify, and then later before dinner I used Visine. Major mistake! The interaction caused major redness, even though it was 10 hours between applications. The redness will not subside until at least 8 hours later. So, warning: stick with one. I will stick with Original Visine. Great results and price."

For Glaucoma, Open Angle "On the Alphagan-P 0.1% morning and evening for 11 months. They are the first ones out of 4 brands that do help with my dry eyes from many hours of daily computer work. I do have a terrible dry mouth side effect, even a dry nose and throat to some degree. The redness in my eyes lowered though. I have a blood pressure of 110/70 and Alphagan-P lowered it down to 50. I could not function in the first week. I could not walk without falling aside. This went away after 7 days or so. My IOP keeps going up over and over again, I even had SLT in 2020 on both eyes and another one on the now glaucoma affected eye in 2023 again. Nothing helps and the blindness in this eye keeps progressing now. It is very sad that one has to start with the China or India made Latanoprost to begin a health insurance coverage. These drops resulted in terrible itching and blurring. I had good vision in 2017, no loss of sight due to glaucoma at all and my IOP used to be 16 to 18. I started losing vision in one eye the next year together with IOP up to 24."

For Eye Redness "Not worth the feeling like your life is over. My side effects were being light-headed, seeing black and white, and chest fullness. No white eye is worth that terrible feeling like someone slipped you a mickey. Dangerous in my opinion."

For Eye Redness "First time I used Lumify (OTC, not prescription), I got a mild headache. Tried again a couple of days later, worse headache, feeling a bit bad. Mouth dry as a desert. Third time, my sinuses became so inflamed it made my teeth hurt! I felt like I had the flu. Terrible headache that wouldn't go away even with Aleve. Sore throat, sinus pain, pressure, drainage, lacrimal ducts swollen. I just recently got over COVID, and I felt exponentially worse from using Lumify. Why would the FDA approve this? Are they taking bribes or something?"

For Eye Redness "After using 2 times, I cannot wear my contacts due to blurry vision. It's been 4 days since I used Lumify, and I still cannot wear my contacts. Never again! It really does whiten, but it is not worth the aftereffects. My eyes are redder than ever."

For Eye Redness "My optometrist recommended this product when it first came out because I’ve always battled red, irritated eyes. Used it for many months, but last fall, I woke up with a subconjunctival hemorrhage in my right eye. Horrendous — the entire eye was bloody. I did not think it was from Lumify since my doctor recommended it. Then I developed another subconjunctival hemorrhage in the same eye in February and again in April and May. It was so bad that I called out of work because I was embarrassed to be seen. The ophthalmologist told me to stop wearing my contacts and to use eye lubricant multiple times daily. A month later, I developed yet another subconjunctival hemorrhage. My ophthalmologist sent me to my PCP to get blood work to rule out blood clotting disorders and cancer. At the same time, I stopped using Lumify because I read a few reviews here and saw people had gotten subconjunctival hemorrhages. My blood work was perfect. I haven’t had an eye hemorrhage since stopping Lumify. DON’T USE LUMIFY!"

For Eye Redness "The drops worked very well! I only used 1 drop in each eye and got instant results. The only problem I had with the purchase is the cost, sure, the drops work, but no one wants to pay almost $20 for a very small bottle! I think the maker is ripping people off with the price. So I went back to my 'Clear Eyes' eye drop. It works just as well and costs much less."

For Eye Redness "I used Lumify one time and could not believe the pain it caused. My eyes burned and watered all night and were swollen the next morning. I flushed them with saline, but it took another day to be able to even open my eyes. When you read the Lumify website, most of the reviews glorify the product and say how well it worked for them. I have to believe they were fake reviews. I feel the FDA needs to get involved here."

For Eye Redness "I bought Lumify yesterday and used the product this morning. This product worked well the first five hours. After the fifth hour, my eyes were bloodshot again. There was no irritation, it caused my head to ache a little. So it really did not work the full eight hours."
