Lumify (brimonidine) for Eye Redness "After using Lumify, I noticed a dramatic increase in floaters, my vision wasn’t as clear, and I had a headache. I am certain the symptoms occurred as a direct result of using these eyedrops. Unacceptable."

Lumify (brimonidine) for Eye Redness "After using Lumify, my visual acuity decreased significantly overnight. I am still in the process of visiting ophthalmologist to prevent legal blindness. I am concerned. Extremely worried. They should not have this product on the market."

Lumify (brimonidine) for Eye Redness "Product is to expensive for the amount product you get. Yes, true all need is one drop, but a strong person will squeeze more than one drop, it is not metered. even with a $4.00 coupon still expensive."

Lumify (brimonidine) for Eye Redness "I was diagnosed with Meibomian Gland Dysfunction and these eye drops definitely do work for red eyes. I have not had the negative effects some reviewers are pointing out, however, I try to limit my use to only a few or a couple of times a week. I would highly advise against using this daily, no matter what anyone says, including my eye doctor. Some doctors say thumbs up and some say thumbs down. Use your own judgment."

Lumify (brimonidine) for Eye Redness "Don't use these drops everyday, folks. That's why you're experiencing all of these negative side effects. I read these reviews and I couldn't believe people were using these everyday. These drops are best used on special occasions. Don't, I repeat don't use these everyday. They are not for everyday use!"

Lumify (brimonidine) for Eye Redness "As someone who has always suffered from dry, red eyes I've been an avid visine/rhotos user. So when I saw the commercial for lumify I was interested. I thought it was too expensive at first, but suddenly there was a change to allow these to be paid for with FSA/HSA $. As with others, this product worked great at first. But over time, my eyes became dependent and I developed a tolerance to them until I had to use them several times a day. Now they look worse than they originally did and sometimes using them doesn't do anything at all for me. They also feel continuously dry, swollen and generally irritated. No other eye drops work anymore, and now a year in, I finally read the reviews. Wondering if/when my eyes will ever return to normal... DON'T FALL FOR THIS TRAP."

Lumify (brimonidine) for Eye Redness "I received a sample in the mail and was familiar with it because of the extensive tv marketing, so I tried Lumify and my eyes were beautifully white! I ran out and bought the $20 bottle. I was so excited and thought that I was rid of red eyes forever...well tried it on day 2, and by evening I had a terrible burning pain in my eyes that were still present after day 4, with no further use of the product after day 2. I believe that overall, this is not a good product and I hope it does not take someone losing vision permanently before it is finally pulled from the shelves and discontinued!"

Lumify (brimonidine) for Eye Redness "I think it is just ridiculous at the amount of the liquid that in the containers for the amount of money. Most eye drop bottles are full, and not a quarter and tagged with an outrageous price. Also the item did not work for me. My eyes did not turn white and for 8 hours is just ludicrous to believe. $11 almost $12 for a quarter of bottle and the next size $19 almost $20 is unbelievable. A money maker with false hopes!!!!"

Lumify (brimonidine) "I used Lumify for about two years every day. It initially reduced the redness in my eyes. After a year I started getting horrible hemorrhagic blood capillary bursts. My entire eye would turn red following the burst. I went to my optometrist who said my eyes were fine and it was not caused by the lumify so I continued to use it. I continued to get broken capillaries and red eyes. I have not used Lumify in about five months however, I still get the hemorrhagic burst in my eye every few months. I am hoping my eyes will heal and that the Lumify has not caused permanent damage. This has caused me stress and anxiety and just want others to be aware this could happen to you."

Lumify (brimonidine) for Eye Redness "I've used Lumify as needed for several years. I'm 78 and red eyes make you look older. They're like magic. I only use it about 4 times a week, once in the morning. I can't imagine some of the symptoms people describe, so I guess I'm one of the lucky ones that don't have sensitivity to an ingredient."

Lumify (brimonidine) for Eye Redness "Please do yourself and your eyes a favor and DO NOT BUY this product. At first the product works great. One drop in each eye in the morning and your eye look bright all day. However, after a couple of months of use I woke up one morning with beet red eyes. Not only were they red they were very irritated. I thought I had conjunctivitis. After a trip to the doctor, it was determined that the eye drops caused my eyes to become red and painful. I had to use cold presses on my eyes to soothe them. It took almost a week for the red to go away. Very embarrassing when your co-workers and clients are asking why my eyes are so red. I can't believe this product is still on the market. Stay away!!"

Qoliana (brimonidine) for Glaucoma, Open Angle "My ophthalmologist started me on brimonidine when he told me that my ocular pressure was too high. Almost immediately I started to have problems with bright lights when driving after dark. I did some research and determined that this medication when introduced to the eye,"the dilator muscle experiences reduced activity causing less pupil dilation and resulting in a more miotic pupil". I had night blindness because the doctor failed to consider this activity and my life changed dramatically."

Lumify (brimonidine) for Eye Redness "I see an ophthalmologist twice a year and I am diagnosed with Blepharitis (inflammation of the eye lids). With the combination of eye lid scrubs with Lumify in the AM and refresh eye drops at night, my eyes feel more like normal and relieved from the burning, puffy red eyes I always have when I wake up. Lumify makes my eyes feel so much better by reducing my inflammation and redness. The low-dose ingredients are safer for your eyes then the harmful ingredients that you will find in other red eye drops. I’ve been using this product for about 5 months and will continue. I took two points off of a 10 star rating because the results are not long term but when my year round allergies are at their worst, Lumify came in for the save... allowing me to open those red puffy eyes in less than 60 seconds to whiter, less puffy eyes."

Lumify (brimonidine) for Eye Redness "I was lured by the commercials on television to try the product despite the high price. I figured I’d buy one of the smaller bottles, though they all seem to come in the same size, just more or less filled. I was pretty pleased to see good results for the first month or so, so I splurged and bought a double pack to save some money overall. Before opening up a bottle from the double pack, which I had already removed from the packaging, I woke up with a subconjunctival hemorrhage in my left eye, and an enlarged red vein in my right eye. Needless to say, I’ll have to bite the bullet on the $30 double pack, since I’ll no longer be using this product. Very disappointed. Have always had good luck with B&L products till now. I guess if it’s too good to be true, it is."

Lumify (brimonidine) for Eye Redness "I was interested in trying Lumify because of the commercial it says it was used to clear your red eyes. I used it off and on for over a year. I have a history of blepharitis infections (last one over 5 yrs ago) and severe dry, red irritated eyes. I've used it consistently for 30 days at a time and I would notice that my eyes would burn more, Or I will wake up with dizziness or headaches. I even had bad dreams with this. I kept using it because I wasn't sure if it was truly the lumify. So after a while I stop using it and I noticed all of that had gone away. I didn't have the dizziness the constant headaches or the bad dreams. Now started having blurry vision. I had LASIK about 7 years ago and thought maybe it was due to that. So the lumify did not help me it only made my situation worse. Top of the red irritated dry eyes I now have blurry vision. My last eye appointment was February 2022 everything checked out except for now I have a stigmatism which I've never had in my life."

For Glaucoma, Open Angle "I have been using Brimonidine Tartrate 0.15% for many years now twice a day. It has significantly decreased my intraocular pressure. The only thing it is not helping is my eye redness which is aggravated by my dry eyes. Also it is very expensive at CVS for a 90 day supply (around $600-something until I reach our insurance deductible, then I only have to pay 15% of cost)."

Lumify (brimonidine) for Eye Redness "I thought Lumify was going to clear my eyes. Only to find out after using this product I now have floaters. The eye doctor stated this is age related. But I didn't have any experience with floaters prior to using Lumify. I can't help but wonder did Lumify bring on the floater experience which is very annoying. Now I need help/support to get rid of the floaters without surgery."

Lumify (brimonidine) for Eye Redness "Started out okay I guess. My eyes definitely looked more vibrant. I thought the small pupil thing was normal and I guess it is for some people who use these drops. Now I have symptoms of something called anterior uveitis and need to be seen by an opthalmologist asap. Mishaped pupil in my left eye, pain, redness by my iris that's new, etc... It's really scary and I've never experienced anything like this before using lumify. Uveitis is a potentially blinding condition if left untreated so I'm scared now and all because I used an over the counter drop I thought would be safe."

Lumify (brimonidine) for Eye Redness "Lumify has made my eyes BLOODSHOT red over time. My eyes have been very red for a year now and I keep using lumify to make them less red. However, I believe that lumify is the cause of my red eyes. There are splotchy red spots all over and now it’s is if I am addicted to these eye drops! I wish I could get the hundreds of dollars that I have spend on these back. DO NOT BUY!"

Lumify (brimonidine) for Eye Redness "After using Lumify for 5 days, one drop in each eye a day, I experienced a huge sub-conjunctival hemorrhage. The blood was so intense that it filled half of my eye and bulged at the surface. I went to my doctor to get my blood pressure checked and all was OK. I have NO other health issues. It has been two weeks, and my eye is just starting to clear up. I did not realize that Lumify was the cause until I read the same complaints by other consumers. I will never purchase from Bausch and Lomb again!"

Lumify (brimonidine) for Eye Redness "I have suffered so bad with red bloodshot eyes since I started using visine, they became so dependent on them & eventually didn’t work at all, just made my eyes so sore, I bought lumify eye drops from the US as this is the only place I could purchase them from, on line, as Australia doesn’t stock them, best eye drops I have ever ever purchased my eyes have stopped relying on visine & from 6 to 9 times a day of applying visine I only have to apply lumify once a day ❤️ This product"

For Intraocular Hypertension "I been using this drops about 3 years ago and didn't experience a fatal adverse reactions as many people experienced. But all drugs are making of chemicals so any drugs can't be perfect without any of the adverse reactions. I know is very difficult choose the better without the adverse reactions for each person because everybody are different and that's why drugs doesn't cause the same reaction in everybody."

Lumify (brimonidine) for Eye Redness "I started using Lumify for 5 days. It did clear up my red eyes within minutes. When I put my contacts in after 10 minutes, within minutes they were just as red as usual I'm assuming from pollen allergies. This happened every time I used the eye drops, plus now I am having problems seeing as well with my contacts. Don't know if the two are related somehow, but I threw away whatever eye drops were left. Will not use Lumify again."

Lumify (brimonidine) for Eye Redness "I began using Lumify about 1-2 yrs ago after my niece’s eye Dr recommended it to her. I’ve struggled with eye redness and dryness for years. The first time I used the drops, my eyes were whiter than I had even thought possible. I continued these drops every morning. Over time, it became more difficult to get the redness out and my eyes were never really white again and I began getting blurred vision and eye pressure. I went to the eye Dr for exam and new contacts. First 2 weeks, contacts were great. Just within the last 3 weeks, my vision has worsened to the point that even with my contacts in, I still cannot read the screen on my phone without also using my reading glasses. After eating dinner out tonight, I removed my contacts in the car due to very blurred vision and was shocked to find that I am now completely unable to drive without contacts which has NEVER been the case. I’ve always driven without eyewear. I’m terrified that Lumify has destroyed my vision permanently."
