"I hope the person who wrote this is going to read this. I took Synalgos-DC back in the 1970s and early 1980s. It's been discontinued, but there is still a way to get this. My friend many years ago was prescribed Synalgos-DC, but her insurance didn't cover it, so this is what the pharmacist did. He prescribed codeine with aspirin, caffeine, and to counteract the codeine, a prescription for promethazine. It works exactly the same. You will need to take 3 pills instead of 1 capsule, but it's the same thing. Hope this will help you. Synalgos-DC was the only drug that helped with my severe cramps. It never helped my migraines, but neither did Demerol."

"Is Synalgos-DC back? What pharmacies carry it? It is literally the only relief I can get for migraines. It is the combination of those three ingredients. I was given it when I was 19 years old when I had my wisdom teeth cut out. What a revelation it was to discover it helped with my migraines. I'm now 58. There was a point when it was no longer being manufactured, and the stories of agony on the internet were in the thousands. Then it came back. Then it was gone again. You can't understand what this means if I can get it again. I hope this isn't current. I will be devastated. Insurance probably won't cover it. Previous insurance did at the top tier."
