  • Use as you have been told, even if your signs get better.
  • Do not take ciclopirox topical solution kit by mouth. Use on your nails and the skin around your nails only. Keep out of your mouth, nose, ears, and eyes.
  • To gain the most benefit, do not miss doses.
  • Read the package insert for more details.
  • Use 8 hours before bathing.
  • Use on nails and nail beds every day.
  • Take off once weekly with rubbing alcohol.
  • Do not use nail polish or other products on nails when using this medicine.

What do I do if I miss a dose?

  • Put on a missed dose as soon as you think about it.
  • If it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your normal time.
  • Do not put on 2 doses or extra doses.
