i am prescribed 200 mg of Seroquel at bedtime, however lately i have been dozing myself and taking 400 mg. is that bad? i can’t seem to fall asleep with just one dose. however i’ve noticed swelling in my ankles. i do have type one diabetes, so not sure if that’s apart of it.

... Parkinson’s today. I’ve read that the only drug approved for Parkinson’s patients is Nuplazid. Reading about Seroquel doesn’t sound good. Any thoughts from anyone? Its other name is quetiapine.

Seroquel - Can Quetiapine ER be crushed/chewed and taken? Everything I read says NO.

However my psychiatrist said it would be OK to chew the 300mg ER tablet, effectively getting a higher dosage administered to help with sleep. I just take it at bedtime to sleep and was previously on 500 mg IR at bedtime
