Does gabapentin cause flatulence?

Gabapentin makes me so sleepy. how can I work?
I started 300mg 1x day suppose to go up to 3x day. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and have taken it for one week and I sleep at least 15 plus hours per day. How am I suppose to function?
