I stopped taking Amitiza, does anyone know how long it takes to leave your system?

I have been taking two tablespoons of lactulose a day for 10 days and I'm not having any results?

I get a lot of wind and with a fair amount of straining I might go 15% of what I would consider a normal bowel movement. I don't know if I am taking it at the wrong time of day or what but I need help.

Why havent I had a bowel movent after increasing the dose of lactulose?

Ive been severely constipated for 12 years and no one can figure out why. Been on lactulose for a while now worked at first now not so much, even upped the dose to 60ml and havent had a bowel movement in 5 days. Im so desperate for answers.

What happens next when Golytely doesn't work?

I have tried amatiza a year ago and was too violent then eventually didn't go. And I can't go a day without having a BM or I will be miserable in pain. Is there any difference between generalac, lactulose? and miralax?

Sometimes when stools are hard I get very bad stomach aches - - motility problem which Dr said is due to scar tissue. I had been in hospital with viral bronchitis - hope life gets a little easier now.

I have chronic constinpation. I started taking Trulance 3 days ago, is not working I can’t go?

I can’t go to the bathroom, with Trulance, usually I use to take high doses of laxative pills every day. My Dr prescribed Trulance is not working, can I take higher dose?
