Trulance usually takes at least five days to begin effect. Be careful adding Miralax or you may suddenly have “accidents” after a week or so.
Hello Meryorbe
Instead of increasing your Trulance I would first call your doctor and explain to he/she that it's been three days and still you haven't been able to go.
Second, I would try adding some foods rich in fiber.
For example, prune juice, figs, oatmeal, black beans, avocados, Greek yogurt, chickpeas, broccoli, baked beans/potatoes.
Also, you may try using OTC Metamucil once a day as well.
Unfortunately, adding laxatives on top of laxatives is not the answer. You need to get to the root of the problem.
Feel better!
p.s. Despite coffee being a diuretic for some people it helps them go the bathroom and move their bowels.
