Which 12-hour time-release medications are most effective for chronic pain management?
The FDA now requires MD's to prescribe only 12-hour medications for chronic pain management. I had been doing fine taking Percocet (5/325) 3 times per day, but am no longer allowed to do that, so I need to find an effective replacement in 12-hour formula. Please recommend some choices.
Can I take oxycodone with food? Or should I eat before/after?
I know some medications it makes a big difference to take with food, just want to be sure I get the most of it.

How close together can I take my tramadol?
I have 37mg tramadol and the bottle Just says I can take it up to 3x daily, as needed. I’ve taken 2, 3 hours apart, and still feel like I’m in pain. Would it be safe to take another one? It’s been 3 hours since I took the last one and I just need the pain relief at night.

How long before I start to feel pain free with Butrans?
I have had my first patch on for about 56 hours now and have not noticed a change in my pain. How long does it usually take to start working and also does water effect it at all. My doctor just put me on the 5mcg/hour patch.
Can you take Norco while taking trazodone?
I take 6 Norco 10/325 mg tablets a day for chronic pain and 50 mg of trazodone at night occasionally for sleeping.

Efficacy of Cymbalta vs duloxetine?
I suffer from nerve pain resulting from a failed back surgery. Recently I noticed that my pharmacy had substituted duloxetine for the prescribed Cymbalta. Concurrently, I noticed a higher level of pain. Could it be that Cymbalta’s efficacy is higher than duloxetine?
