I take Xyrem, modafinil, methylphenidate, Claritin D, Singular, pantoprazole, spironolactone, Lyrica, Cymbalta, sumatriptan as needed, Zofran as needed, Trulance, diclofenac, and Emgality injection. Would taking any of these together give me side effects? I’m trying to figure out if some of my health stuff is related to medications.
Does the combination of my medicines have any bad side effects?

This is only my opinion, but you are on quite a list of drugs. All have side effects, some possibly serious. I am presently on Tenazapam and desperately looking to wean off. When you read of all the problems that people have with these drugs, I really wonder if the effects are worth it. I, for only am going to try other alternatives to chemicals. Some of these drugs are only supposed to be prescribed for a short duration, temazepam being one recommended for 10 days to 2 weeks. I am on it over a year. I presently have 4 refills. I have aboaut 4 scripts for pain bills in my cabinet but I know I am never going to take them unless I have a bone crushing experience.
WildcatVet gave an excellent answer. In addition to drug interactions also check the list of side effects for each drug also. Go over your list of medications with your doctor to see if maybe you can cut out using multiple drugs that treat the same symptoms or diagnoses, like Cymbalta and Lyrica together. You may need only one of them. I did the process of elimination with my drugs and was able to eliminate some drugs and that stopped many of the unpleasant side effects.
Hi, taoconnor!
That's quite a list and I'm fairly sure that there might be some, if not many, interactions. You can use this link:
https://www.drugs.com/drug_interactions.html
Just type any combination or type in every one of them. You're going to get a LONG list of potential interactions.
Just a question if you don't mind... is your doctor(s) aware that you are taking all these drugs?
Thank you for your response! My doctors are aware I am taking all of those medications. I have looked into the side effects. I have unexplained pain and my chiropractor thinks that either one or a combination of my medications could be causing these pains. That’s why I was trying to find more information on it.
Good luck and I hope you're feeling better very soon!
