I take 6 Norco 10/325 mg tablets a day for chronic pain and 50 mg of trazodone at night occasionally for sleeping.
Can you take Norco while taking trazodone?

Taking Norco and Trazodone together could increase the risk of serotonin syndrome. If you check the interaction between these two medications here on Drugs.com you can find the information you need to see. I’m not saying that this could happen to you; but I think you should be warned. This way you and your doctor can work together to make sure that you are safe. Personally I would never take Tramadol! These types of drugs have taken many years of my life away from me. Do all the research you can on it please. For your sake I’m just trying to help you to be careful. I wish you only the best.

You can take them both together otherwise your doctor wouldn't have prescribed them with the new laws being so strict. You can no longer be on benzodiazepines if you are on pain meds. So they now give people stuff like trazodone and other old and crappy sleep meds. I truly don't like trazodone since it gives me horrible side effects like I feel as if I drank alcohol and have a hangover the next day. You'd be better off with some CBD oil to help with anxiety and sleep. trazodone is crap.
Yes, Norco is an opioid where trazodone is an anti depressant. I used to take them together all the time. I found that trazodone didn't really help me so I quit it. But my hubby still takes it.
Thank you, most helpful. I was concerned and sometimes doctors are not the best ones to help or reassure you. I needed someone who actually takes them. Have a great weekend.
