I take 12.5mg weekly of Methotrexate and I have a lot of lower back, left back and left hip pain. Any activity, including daily house chores, make it worse.
Chronic Back Pain - I'm looking for information about back pain caused by methotrexate please?

Methotrexate does have a listed side effect of back pain and/or body and joint pain. Some side effects seem to sort themselves out after your body has a chance to become accustomed to the medication. Usually after a couple of weeks or so. However, if the side effect doesn't subside, or is too severe, than I would suggest you contact your Dr and discuss your options.
I am hoping someone else has had the same experience and can describe what it's like for them, because I can't tell if this pain is from Methotrexate or not.
That's difficult as one person's pain rarely mimics another person's. You'd probably be more successful tracing your pain back to it's approximate beginning. Did it start within a short time time of you starting the medication? Was it something you already experienced, but it became markedly worse after starting the medicine? If you haven't had any recent falls or injuries, and can pinpoint the approximate beginning of your symptoms, you should have your answer.
