I've used the same family owned pharmacy for my pain meds for 10 years. This month I picked up my script for oxycodone and the tablets are different. I looked on the bottle and the manufacturer is one I've never seen. It's abbreviated on the bottle Eyw and I'm having palpitations, super sleepy and can't take it with my gabapentin and Baclofen like I always have. Has anyone seen this abbreviation for a oxycodone manufacturer before? Like so many others here I've been a pain patient for over 20 years and am trying to find answers.
New manufacturer used for my oxycodone?

Yes, I take generic hydrocodone with acetaminophen that is manufactured by EYW. I have been taking this medication for chronic pain on a daily basis. I have never had any issues medical or otherwise in taking this medication manufactured by EYW. I recommend that you express your concerns to the dispensing pharmacist or the prescribing physician.
This is interesting. I was injured in a car accident that has caused a lot of chronic pain in my neck. Besides my opioid medication I take Baclofen due to very tight neck muscles that cause pain and terrible headaches all night.
A couple of years ago they prescribed Baclofen which really reduced the tight muscles and got rid of the headaches. The brand my pharmacy has provided was TruPharma.
This September they switched to EYWA and my tension and headaches came back with a vengeance. After two months of it, I asked if they could get me the other brand and they did for my November refill. Within days the issues went away. Then my wife picked up my December prescription and it was back to the EYWA brand. I was so upset but they were purchased and that was that. Within a week my tension and headaches have returned.
I’m checking if they can get me the brand that works or I will be looking to refill elsewhere.
I haven't seen that particular manufacturer but there are so many different manufacturers for oxycodone that I can't even name them all. Some work better than others in my opinion as I also have been going to same pharmacy for years and when I get my oxycodone and have a bad reaction to the filler they use, I talk to my pharmacist and tell him what side effects I'm having with this particular manufacturer and he is more than willing to either order me one that works the best for me or he just puts a note in my file to not use the one that is making me have a bad reaction. Speak w your pharmacist and I'm sure he/she will work with you in providing you with the best medication for you.
Very true and good point !
Could it be EYWA, then it would be Eywa Pharma Inc.:

Hope this info helps.
Yes it is. I spoke to the pharmacy owner and asked if anyone had called in making complaints. He said no, but I shouldn't be having any of what I was describing to him. He said the manufacturer they normally use was out for a short period and told me to bring in what I have and he'd swap me even for what I typically get from him now that he has them back in stock. Try getting that kind of service at Walgreens or CVS!!
