I was prescribed just 25mg/day at bedtime. I wanted to discontinue it because I thought it was giving me weird side effects. I had been taking the medication for about 5 weeks when I chose to stop it.

I was just diagnosed with burning mouth syndrome today. Is this life threatening?

I am in so much pain and talking and eating hurt so bad. I'm scared, my doctor is prescribing me medication for it. Will I have it for the rest of my life? Is it possibly fatal? Thank you, I'm just looking for information.
