I take 1 mg of Klonopin in the morning and 2 mg ‘s of Klonopin at night and my anxiety is through the roof. Any suggestions? I talk to my psychiatrist on Saturday.
Anxiety medication suggestions and still allow me to focus at work?

Hi, Tatd!
That's a pretty high dosage and you wouldn't want to increase it. You may even have trouble withdrawing from the Klonopin if you decide to stop it.
There are the SSRI, SNRI, and SARI antidepressant/anxiolytics which are ideal for long term use for control of anxiety disorders without the inconvenience and dangers of the benzodiazepines. There is also a medication called buspirone which is neither an antidepressant or benzo that is "old school" but particularly effective for people sensitive to medications.
Best regards and good luck in finding a good solution.

Have you tried Gabapentin? If not, read the reviews here for Gabapentin and its use for anxiety. People give it rather good reviews for anxiety. I have used it for this as well and it does work.
I don't have a good answer but I can commiserate with you. My anxiety is through the roof also. I take 1 mg in the morning, 1 mg in the afternoon and 1 mg at night. I'm at my wits end. It helps some but doesn't give me that everything is going to be alright feeling.
