For Birth Control "I was on Levora for approx 5 months; it was great the first few months. My acne had lessen overall and I had minimal bloating around my period. Cramping had subsided and I had a lot of hair growth on my head. No weight gain, no bigger boobs. However, the negative side effects first started with breast tenderness (which was okay) but it became worse. I started out as emotional then became extremely angry or easily aggravated all the time! My skin started becoming really oily which then caused me to break out. Overall, I still believe this was a good birth control; it just didn't work out for me. I'd still recommend you'd give it a try if you can. (no pregnancy either!)"

For Birth Control "I just started my 4th month on Levora. I have not experienced any side effects besides CRYING. I cry almost everyday. I was not like this at all before. Yeah, I cried at the sad parts in movies, but that's about it. Since I started Levora, I cry over just about everything. It's really embarrassing because it happens at work and school, and my boyfriend is also affected by it, too. Other than that, no complaints."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "After years of severely painful and agonizing 7 day heavy periods, my doctor recommended Levora. I have been on this pill for over a year now and it has been amazing. Only side effects I have had are positive- my boob size increased an entire cup and I have just about no acne! My periods have also shortened to less than 3 days and they are extremely light, no pain or headaches anymore either. My period comes the same time, same day, every single month. I was petrified to start birth control but I couldn't stand the horrible periods anymore. I am so happy my doctor suggested Levora as I no longer lose sleep laying awake in pain! This pill has done wonders for me!"

For Birth Control "This is the first and only birth control medication I've been on. I've been taking it a little over 2 years now. I've had no side-effects besides EXTREMELY low sex drive. I've never had a particularly high sex drive but now it's nonexistent. I haven't had any of the headaches or mood swings. There was a mild increase in my acne but I'm also a college student so I don't particularly lay all the blame on the pill. Overall, it does it's job but I would caution potential takers with low libido."

For Birth Control "I have been on Levora for around 4 years and have never had negative side effects. Levora did not make me gain any weight, or cause mood swings. One great thing is that Levora has lightened and shorted my period time. I now only have a light period for 3-4 days. I love this birth control! My only complaint is the price."

For Birth Control "I have been miserable for the past few months while on Levora. At first it just started with some moodiness but it has escalated after about four months (I've been on it for about 6 months). My moodiness is just so unpredictable now I feel physically depressed and anxious. Also my decreased sex drive has become a huge problem. I have no interest whatsoever and have had increased vaginal dryness. Also I have had increased food cravings, I feel like I am always hungry and combined with feeling depressed that is a dangerous combination, I've gained about 30 lbs in 6 months. I have had much lighter periods since I have been on Levora, no cramping and no acne but the positives really don't outway the negatives."

For Birth Control "I am overall very pleased. I've been using this pill for a year and my periods/ cramping couldn't be better. I do get a bit moody close to my period but I've tried other brands and this one's tolerable in this department. Overall I'm very pleased. And it's a huge plus my insurance covers 100 percent of this. Win win."

For Birth Control "I was on Levora for about 9 years and have quit taking it now for about a year. I never became pregnant on this pill, so it definitely serves it's purpose, but I did have some common side effects that it seems a lot of woman complained about as well. My two biggest issues were a VERY decreased libido (almost non-existent), breast tenderness, and anxiety. I'm still suffering from anxiety issues, so I'm not sure if the pill contributed to the anxiety, or if I would've started having it even if I never started taking the pill."

For Birth Control "I've been on this pill for about a year and at first I loved it. I was on depo provera for a while but my periods were all over the place and skin wasn't in very good shape. Once I started levora, my breasts were very tender but they also grew so I wasn't complaining. About 6 months ago I started packing on pounds. I'm 5'2 and have never gone above 110lbs. I am now a solid 125lbs, sometimes more. I have not changed my fairly healthy diet and do lightly excercise. My skin has not cleared up and my sex drive is gone. I literally got nothing good out of this pill other than big boobs (Again, not complaining). I am getting off of this pill asap."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I didn't even make 6 days into the pack before I had to quit from the worst bleeding I've ever had and severe depression and anxiety. I have 2 LOs 22 months apart and I'd rather do that all over again than take this birth control."

"I was on Levora for 3 months exactly and the whole 3 months I had horrible mood swings and irritability. I also had weird pulling pains in my uterus between the "period" time and it was not pleasant at all. My "periods" did get much lighter (before this I had very heavy periods due to fibroids with lots of pain), but it just doesn't feel like my body is functioning properly. I am getting break throughs now at the end of month three and I have gained weight and it keeps creeping up and up despite me cutting back on calorie intake and working out. Also - sex drive pretty much disappeared and I feel disgusted by myself because I've never been this heavy and bloated. I cannot wear most of my clothes that fit me 3 months ago. I'd rather be in pain for a week with heavy bleeding and return to my normal self than keep taking these pills. Getting off! I also want to add that no other BC ever gave me these many problems."

For Birth Control "I started taking this bc to help with my cramps and heavy period, very bad choice because I have literally been bleeding for 6 months! Most of the time it was spotting, some days it was so heavy and the cramps... they are the worst. I've become extremely depressed, I cry like crazy, I can never sleep past 3am and I have become so mean to people. I wouldn't recommend this bc to my worst enemy, it's terrible"

For Birth Control "I just start taking levora am wondering if the bad feeling is gonna go away. In the mornings when I brush my theeth I feel like I want to vomit It gives me the feeling as if am pregnant and am waiting to see if this is gonna continue else I really have to stop taking it"

For Birth Control "On this pill for a couple months. I had heavy bleeding for the first solid month. I started having anxiety and boughts of depression. I have never felt that way on a bc pill before. I would have stomach problems to where i would vomit or have diarrhea. I chalked up everything to just having a baby at first, but soon realized it was the pills. I immediately quit taking them and had my old prescription filled . The pills just did not mix well for me. I was on spritnec for 4.5 years and never had a problem!"

For Birth Control "I have taken Levora for the past 2 years. During this time I have gained 30 lbs. Libido has decreased and I get lightheaded after sex (not sure if this is typical!) No pregnancy while on this pill. No substantial acne issues. I do like that my periods now occur regularly every month for a shorter amount of time (2-3 days rather than 5-6 days every 30-70 days). Period cramping is not nearly as bad as before taking the pill. Still, I am very unhappy about the weight gain. It may be a combination of this medication and other lifestyle changes I've had during the past 2-3 years."

"I have been on Levora for about 2 years now, and I'm about to switch. What I like about the pill is that it works great. I'm forgetful and haven't gotten pregnant. When I miss, I can't double up because I will get highly nauseous. I also have to take three months straight before I can take the placebo week. If not, I will wake up in the middle of the night on the first night back and throw up. Other issues I've had: nausea, headaches, weight gain, anxiety, excessive crying over nothing, I'm easily irritated and angered, increased hunger. The worst side effect however, has been my sex drive. It has completely gone. I have to talk myself into having sex with my husband. Not cool."

For Birth Control "I switched from having the implant (implanon) and have been taking Lenora for a little over 3 weeks now. While I had the implant a had constant dark discharge, had depression, very low sex drive, not being able to get wet, and weight gain ( and I am an extremely active person). Since I've been on Levora I have gotten more sensitive and get irritated easily but other than that nearly everything was fixed! I feel my sex drive is coming back and my discharge is completely back to normal. I also am able to get wet during sex. Still no change in weight though but I think this pill has definitely helped me overall. Plus it's working by not getting me pregnant"

For Birth Control "Seriously the worst birth control I've used! It's done its purpose of preventing pregnancy but the side effects are horrible! Ever since being on Levora its been nothing but a negative experience. I get very fatigue, nauseous, and have severe migraines. I'm 20 years old and never had high blood pressure until I got on this pill. I have horrible mood swings and anxiety. Myself and my fiance have notice a big change in my emotions. I can be totally fine one moment then be crying the next or be very hostile! I will get heart palpitations and shortness of breath out of nowhere. It didn't help with reducing cramping pain at all while being on my cycle in fact it felt so much worse than before. I experience severe vaginal dryness which makes sex very painful during and after! Never had a problem with lubrication at all until this pill and its definitely not related to arousal. I do recommend this pill at all! Getting off of it ASAP!!!"

"I was put on Levora because I didn't want my period anymore. Didn't have any problems to begin with, my period has always been light and on time, it would just happen on days where I really needed it not to. I've been taking it for exactly 3 weeks (started the day my period ended) and it's been great! I have no mood swings whatsoever, no weight gain, no headaches, and no nausea! My libido was already pretty high but now it's even higher! My breasts are a tiny bit sore but they've increased from an A to a B. Only negative thing I've noticed so far is that I have more breakouts than I used to but it's not horrible. I was supposed to start my period today but didn't so it could be working for that. As long as I have fewer periods. First birth control for me."

For Birth Control "I guess I can't complain. You get on birth control to not get pregnant. I've been on Levora for about 5 months now and I have recently decided I AM DONE. Since starting this pill I have gained 12 pounds. For the past two years of my life I have weighed between 108 and 110. Levora makes you crave food like crazy. I have turned into an emotional wreck. I cry all the time, I am easily annoyed and fly between depression and feeling fine within minutes. I have lost all sex drive. Its absolutely gone."

For Birth Control "I've been on this pill for about 8 months now. I started when I met the most amazing man in the world. Unfortunately, we're in a long distance relationship so the small amount of time we get every 2 weeks, he of course wants to have sex. Before I started Levora I would have sex with him 2-4 times a day, it was the most amazing sex of my life! Ever since I started the pill I don't even want to kiss him. He thinks I'm not attracted to him anymore because I NEVER want to have sex! If he wasn't so in love and patient with me I know that he would have been gone by now. I absolutely hate how much this has affected my sex drive, it's caused me to gain 10lbs, and sometimes I get overly emotional/depressed."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I went on this pill to help control my insane periods and help with my acne. I'm quite young, and my periods would last from 7-10 days. my periods would be so bad that I would throw up, not be able to walk, and faint. So I decided to go on birth control to lighten my periods. my doctor told me to skip the placebo pills every month for 4 months. after the fourth month I got my period, and it made the cramping and blood flow EVEN WORSE! I also went on it to help with acne, and I can say that it has possibly made my acne worse. before going on the pill I rarely got large, hard pimples on my cheeks, and now thats a regular occurrence. if you're like me, I wouldn't recommend this pill!!"

For Birth Control "This is the worst ever. I'm crazy - I cry all the time and I've only been on it for 3 weeks and have had a 3 week bleeding cycle. I have little clots coming at least once a day. My partner thinks it's better to be off of it and just use condoms!!! Terrible pill DON'T TAKE IT..."

For Birth Control "I've been taking this pill for over a year and I have literally had all the side effects that are listed. I've felt so depressed and moody ever since taking this pill and I never use to be like that. I strongly recommend to not take this med if you typically feel nauseous a lot or if you have terrible periods like me. I have gained about 15 pounds from this med and I always feel bloated. Switching to something different tomorrow."

For Endometriosis "I've been on Levora for three years to help with my endometriosis. I've gained weight but most women do while taking any type of birth control. I used to have really bad acne now I only really breakout during my period, also my period is lighter and shorter. Every woman is different and our bodies aren't going to be the same as another woman talking the same birth control."
