Lo Loestrin Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I have a very sensitive body. I ended up in the hospital after 2 weeks of using Ortho Tri Cyclen and was very scared of going back on any birth control pill. However, I'm on my second month of using Lo Loesterin Fe and so far it's been great! The only side effects I've experienced thus far are breast tenderness, bloating of my breasts, and very little mood swings. Other than that I haven't had any other problems. Furthermore, I haven't gained any weight nor experienced any nausea. My sex drive has shot up the roof rather than decreasing. Must say, overall this pill has been great compared to other pills I've used!

Lo Loestrin Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: No side effects, very light periods. On my 3rd month, and no weight gain. Had a bit of a long period the first month, but since then, it's been perfect. The only gripe I have is that because it's so new, it's crazy expensive. $45 a month even with health insurance.

Lo Loestrin Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I'm starting my second month of using Lo Loestrin Fe. I tried other birth control pills at different dosages but they would make me feel really dizzy and sick. My doctor provided me with Lo Loestrin Fe and so far I have not felt as bad as I had before with previous birth control methods. I have felt somewhat dizzy but quickly goes away. The only main concern is why I have not started my period yet. I know the pill can affect your body in different ways but I don't like that you don't know if whether it's because of the pill or if you're pregnant. I have been cramping and have really tender breasts but no period. Don't know if this is normal or not which is why I came to look over these reviews. Looks like it really depends on the person.

Lo Loestrin Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I've been on Lo Loestrin for 4 months. This pill is one of the best I've taken so far. No periods or crazy mood swings. Sex drive is normal. Only downside is that I have gained some weight and it's been hard to lose it while being on this pill. Second downside it's expensive, and my insurance doesn't cover it so its cost me 75$ per month. Overall, good experience on this pill.

Lo Loestrin Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I was prescribed Lo Loestrin Fe for my debilitating cramps and anemia. I was on another hormone treatment a few years back but stopped taking it due to low finances. On a regular check-up, my doctor suggested trying birth control pills again even though it is not pregnancy prevention I am seeking. I agreed since I am unmarried and do not intend on having children in the next few years. Now I am on my third month of using Lo Loestrin and I am liking it so far. My cramps have slowly become minimal, my bleeding is no longer insanely heavy, my last period lasted 4 days instead of 7, and best of all I do not feel severely ill due to my anemia.

My old pills (Tried Ortho Tri, Nuvaring, etc. for around 5-10 yrs) lowered my sex drive and gave me other weird side effects. For the first few months I had some of the basic side effects, but now they're mostly gone except I never get periods anymore. I asked my doctor if that's normal, and she said it was fine.

I was put on this by the doctor in March of 2011 and the first month I felt a complete change, no migraines. In month 3 I had a normal period 4 days. In month 4 I have no period but I have light cramps that's okay because they were worse on the other one. But I don't know if I should freak out about not having one or throw a Party.

I am on my first pack of Lo Loestrin Fe and surprisingly I haven't had any debilitating side effects. I am just entering my 3rd week of pills and I am bloated and have started spotting. I'm not sure if this is breakthrough bleeding or if I'm going to have a full blown period. Regardless, I am going to wait it out as I'm thrilled not to have any nausea or intense mood swings. So far, so good!

In the past I have had insane mood swings, random periods that last for months, serious weight gain, headaches/nausea, extremely low sex drive, etc. Since I started taking this I feel like a normal person again. I'm not randomly mean to my boyfriend, I want to sleep with him too. I have noticed that since I've started taking this pill (I'm on my 3rd month) I've been able to lose weight a little bit easier, unlike the last pill I took. I will continue taking this.

Lo Loestrin Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: My doctor gave me this birth control because I wanted one that was more natural and less damaging to the body. I've been on it for 5 months now and I'm still not getting my periods when I'm suppose to. They come randomly each month, however, I get slight cramping the day before to warn me. They're very light and for about 4 days. I've gained close to 10 lbs. I've changed my diet dramatically and I'm working out, so I know it's the pill. Other side effects include (painful) breast tenderness and hunger. It's very expensive. I'm giving it 2 more months to finish my 2 packs and then I'm switching to a different birth control if I don't see any changes. The nurse said this is all normal.

The only side effect I had was some nausea, but that went away after a few days. Overall this is great I would definitely recommend it.

However, since I started taking it two months ago, I've gained almost 10lbs, have been nauseous, dizzy, feverish, cranky and have had breast tenderness and insomnia. Two months of feeling pregnant and sick and I called my doctor to put me on something else. Glad it worked for others... wish it had worked for me too.

Lo Loestrin Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I've only been on it for two weeks, but so far I LOVE IT! It has helped clear up my acne, and I've noticed that I've started losing weight in what seems like all the right places! The only down fall is I've been spotting this whole time, which is a pain since I just recently started a new relationship! I'm sure that will change over time. If things change I will definitely let you know, but so far all I can say is HOORAH LO LOESTRIN FE!!

Lo Loestrin Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I had been on the same birth control for over 10 years and only switched to Lo Loestrin Fe to see if it would be better for my high blood pressure. During the first two weeks I had severe mood swings. I gained about 7 lbs and my breasts increased almost a full cup size. They were big enough already and I hate that most of my tops are tighter in the chest area. I've been on it for 5 months now and can't shake the extra weight I've gained. But my real problem with this birth control is how expensive it is. I can't afford it anymore and I'm thinking about going back to my old birth control.

Lo Loestrin Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: So far this is the best birth control I've ever taken and I've tried A LOT! I just finished the first pack and had barely any spotting. Actually super light spotting started last Sunday. My breast did kind of get fuller though. A little tenderness but not nearly as much as I had predicted. I sometimes feel nauseous but it goes away shortly after. I have noticed I'm a bit more tired but other than that there aren't really any side effects. I would advise you to take the pill at the exact same time and take it in the evening. This will minimize the side effects. Hope this helps.

Lo Loestrin Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: Have not stopped bleeding since I started the pill 3 weeks ago today. I have gained 10lbs and the non stop bleeding is enough to make me go back to my painful irregular periods. I am stopping the pill immediately.

I have been on birth control for the past 6 years. BeYaz was my last which made me so nauseous, which I never experienced before and constant bleeding. Since my switch to Lo Loestrin, the bleeding stopped, however my cramps right now are severe. I also lost weight on this.

I remembered feeling sluggish, craving food and being moody when I was on other birth controls. Last time I was on birth control I gained 10 lbs and couldn't shake it. With Lo Loestrin FE I had side effects during my first month. Now I'm in the middle of month two and I feel no side effects whatsoever. During month one I had non-stop spotting for two weeks straight (not fun for just starting a relationship). I bloated about 5 lbs during week 2, but with a little more dieting I worked it back down. I remember having one moment of extreme moodiness in week 3. But like I said, its month two and I have no side effects at all.

I am waiting to finish up my third pack and then going to try and switch. I am getting married in three weeks and nothing will work to clear up the acne.

The non-stop bleeding is very aggravating because I am unsure when my period begins, which has always been very regular. I have also been very irritable and emotional. The only positive effect I have experienced while taking this pill is no severe nausea. If the bleeding and mood swings have not stopped by the time I finish the third pack, I will be switching immediately!

I wanted something with little to no side effects and something that wouldn't be a big risk to the bits of cervical cancer I have. So I talked to my doctor and he put me on Lo Loestrin Fe and I love it. It's amazing. I have very little side effects, like when on the blue pills in the pack, I have a little bit of acne but when my period comes at the end of the pack the acne goes away. I also have a little bit of bloating in the belly but no big weight gain and sometimes I get a bad headache an hour after taking it. I also have trouble sleeping and sometimes my arm goes numb but I don't have bad side effects. These are nothing, I love this pill. I have no random spotting or bleeding and it does not make me sick.

On my first packed I had spotting on my 3rd week, then a very light period. I have not had any spotting on the second pack and my period is VERY light. I used to have horrible cramps and heavy bleeding. This has worked out great for me.
