Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate) for Birth Control: I was on Mononessa until the pharmacy changed their preferred generic to Sprintec. I never have acne and within days of taking the first pill I started breaking out. My period started 4-5 days before it was supposed to and I ended up having 10-11 day periods. On the previous pill I wasn't only having 5-6 day periods. This is the worst birth control experience I have ever had. I tried it for 3 months (mail order pharmacy sent 3 months worth) hoping it was just the first month, but instead I had 3 months of the longest periods of my life.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding: I have been taking Sprintec for a couple months now and for about a couple weeks of about 3 or four a day, I had severe cramps and had to be put on 500 mg painkillers, it has since subsided somewhat, but I now have the biggest clots that I have ever seen. I am constantly spotting, even though it is supposed to stop or regulate my period. I was placed on it by a couple of different doctors because I have been having excessive bleeding non stop. I was on another birth control pill - I forgot the name which was way better at stopping my period and getting me back on a monthly cycle. With Sprintec, my period is constant and I spot daily. My sex life is nonexistent as a result.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate) for Birth Control: So far, I've been on three different kinds of birth control this month. I switched to Sprintec about 4 months ago, because it was cheap. My skin started breaking out, my periods were heavy and my emotions were out of control. I cry all the time and fight with my boyfriend.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate) for Birth Control: I was on Yaz but the problem with it is that it causes breakthrough bleeding and has a higher rate of cysts. Sprintec is very effective and regulates the period the best so far. HOWEVER, my acne has worsened a lot. If you don't have acne, I'd recommend it.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate) for Birth Control: Sprintec gave me yeast infection, constant bleeding and loss of appetite, as well as sex drive. I haven't had a yeast infection in over ten years so I know it was the Sprintec because I got the infection after first 2 weeks of using it. I have used Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo in the past with very little side effects. I thought would be the same as Ortho. I am definitely switching back even if it costs more.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate) for Endometriosis: I have been on this pill for about four years. My Doctor took me off of Ortho-Tri Cyclen because of ovarian cysts. My only compliant is the EXTREME swelling in my ankles and when it's really hot. I was recently put on Yaz and had to be taken off so they put me back on this. Otherwise, it would be a great pill but the swelling is getting old and I am sick of dealing with it.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate) for Endometriosis: I was on Sprintec for only 3 weeks in an attempt to treat endometriosis. I had to discontinue this medication because I gained five pounds of retained water weight over-night during my 2nd week. I woke up and my fingers and ankles were swollen. I started getting numbness and painful "pins and needles" in my right arm and right leg. I also was so tired, all I wanted to do was sleep. Co-workers even commented how tired I looked. I had mood swings and had periods where I was upset or wanted to cry over minor issues and couldn't understand why, yet I couldn't control it. The hormonal fluctuations played havoc with my emotional state.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate) for Endometriosis: I've only been on Sprintec for a couple months but I noticed my depression has got worse. I'm tired all the time, dizzy and just want to cry. I got an yeast infection and my acne isn't clearing up. As far as my endometriosis. I can't tell if it has got any better.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate) for Birth Control: I had been on another birth control pill for a very long time and switched to Sprintec because of insurance. After starting Sprintec I had breakthrough bleeding for about 2 weeks before my regular period was scheduled to begin. I have been having breakthrough bleeding (which started similar to a very light period and is now down to some spotting) for about 2 weeks now.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate) for Birth Control: I was on Sprintec for over a year. I took it religiously because I have never wanted kids. I never missed a dose and took it at around the same time every day. I am now 16 weeks pregnant. So just warning some of you, be careful, don't completely rely on birth control pills. I gave my doctor a list of any medications I had taken while I was on Sprintec and she told me that nothing that I was taken was known to affect Sprintec.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate) for Birth Control: I took Sprintec for a couple of years. My mood was good and it regulated my period well. My HUGE complaint is that Sprintec gave me yeast infections almost every month. I didn't know what was wrong with me, but my doctor said it was probably the Sprintec, which has a high dose of estrogen.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate) for Endometriosis: I found out I had endometriosis a few months ago and before I went on birth control(Sprintec) I would be in such pain I wouldn't be able to get out of bed. It was horrible. When my OBGYN put me on this birth control the pain stopped and I was able to do a lot of things I wasn't able to before.
