Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I was extremely skeptical about trying Sprintec after reading the numerous online comments about it. However, I was forced to switch to it for financial reasons. However, after several months of using Sprintec, I have not experienced one single negative side effect. In fact, it has improved my periods tremendously! I get no cramps, very little bloating, a very light period that only lasts 2-3 days, and no mood changes. I love it so far! Don't be deterred by the negative reviews out there...each birth control affects each person differently. If you haven't had problems with the pill in the past, then maybe you won't with this one (like me).

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have been taking Sprintec for 3 years now. It has worked really well for me. Before this I would get very moody, get menstrual migraines, have really bad cramps, and when I was 18 I started getting nauseous/sick every other month within the first couple of days of my period. Since taking Sprintec I feel my mood has greatly improved, I no longer get sick/nauseous, my cramps have become more than tolerable, and I noticed no increased acne or weight gain. I haven't experienced any of the yeast infection/urinary tract problems with this. However every girl will react differently to different birth controls. If it doesn't work for you, don't worry; just call your doctor and discuss some new options. Eventually you will find something that works for you.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: It hasn't made me sick or caused acne. I went to the doctors twice from urinary tract infection since I've been on it. I've been taking it for a month now and my mood has changed severely. I have no interest in sex at all, I get dry and I have no intention of wanting to do it. I feel stressed and depressed and I've never been like that. I feel bad for my boyfriend and its been ruining our love life. I'm calling my doctor to switch as soon as she is available. When they say birth control doesn't affect your mood, they are wrong! Read the other reviews.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: There are so many mixed reviews for this product and honestly you can't just go by what some of them say. Everyone's body is different and will react differently to medications. I've never had a problem with Sprintec, but others may. It's completely up to your body as to how it will react with the medication. It's fine to start out with it first since it is the cheapest birth control and if it doesn't work for you...switch.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I was on Sprintec for over a year. I took it religiously because I have never wanted kids. I never missed a dose and took it at around the same time every day. I am now 16 weeks pregnant. So just warning some of you, be careful, don't completely rely on birth control pills. I gave my doctor a list of any medications I had taken while I was on Sprintec and she told me that nothing that I was taken was known to affect Sprintec.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: It works for not getting pregnant, but I get really moody and yell at my boyfriend a lot. I get really bad chest pains and can't breath well at times. My left arm goes numb and hurts, I was fine before I started taking this pill, since I've been on I've been nothing but sick for 6 months now.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: This was the first birth control I have been on and I love it. I have been on it for 6 months now and the only side effect I have had was a little bit of weight gain. It is only 7 lbs and I would bet quite a bit that it is all in my breasts. I went from a 34D to a 34DDD. Other than that, I have had no other side effects. My fiance and I both agree that my sex drive has increased tremendously since I started taking Sprintec. This was just how it affected me.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have been on Sprintec for a month now, and have not had a problem with weight gain, but for the first 2-3 weeks my skin was terrible! It cleared up after that, however. I don't feel hungry as often because I almost constantly feel nauseous and have headaches. The most notable side effect is the cramps. Even though I'm not on my period, I have terrible cramps that makes it feel like I am! Got to my first week of white pills and no period.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Ovarian Cysts: So I've been reading other reviews for this, and I really think that people should wait until after the first month to decide if this is a horrible birth control because OF COURSE we're going to have the bad side effects the first few weeks! Our bodies are adapting to a new drug so just be patient! The first three weeks I had nausea, mild mood swings, loss of appetite, and EXTREMELY sore and swollen breasts. Since then I've been side effect free. I've been on it for three months now and I have to say it's amazing! I take it for PCOS and because of my PCOS I would be having periods every 6 months and they would be KILLER! I would literally be in bed for days, but with this birth control I have mild short periods. It's fantastic. I definitely recommend it.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I took this for 5 months and loved it. It actually cleared up the acne I had before I started it and it kept me from getting pregnant. I started forgetting to take it so I switched to the Depo Provera shot. It has made me depressed, crazy, gain weight, no period, lactate, acne break outs, and no sex drive at all. Now my doctor even thinks I might have a tumor on my pituitary gland and will have to get an MRI to find out soon. So, I have definitely switched back to Sprintec, today actually and I hope all these side effects from Depo Provera go away.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I've been taking Sprintec for a month now. The first week and a half I started taking it, I had the worst mood swings (Crying profusely, suicidal thoughts, depression), but that was it really. Those feelings only lasted that long. The only times I felt nauseous was if I didn't eat a meal at all before or after taking the pill. (I believe if you eat a good sized meal right before or right after taking it, you'll be fine). My breasts feel slightly sore, and are a bit more rounded and full now (Which I'm curious to see if they get to another cup size, me being a 32A right now). I feel like this pill is effective and the side effects are mild and not too bad.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I've been on this birth control for about 5 months. It is the first one I've ever tried and my only negative complaint was that it made me very sad. I cried about everything in the first 2 months of taking this pill. My face is a lot clearer and looks better than ever. My periods last 3-4 days which happens to be normal for me. I've never had any spotting during my active pills. I think this is a good birth control but every birth control is different for everyone. I'm happy with this one.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I had been on another birth control pill for a very long time and switched to Sprintec because of insurance. After starting Sprintec I had breakthrough bleeding for about 2 weeks before my regular period was scheduled to begin. I have been having breakthrough bleeding (which started similar to a very light period and is now down to some spotting) for about 2 weeks now.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have been on Sprintec for three months now. I had minor acne before and after the first few weeks, my skin was completely cleared up. The only issue I had was during the first month I had problems sleeping. However, that is a common side effect of any birth control pill. I also got a yeast infection last month and while oral contraceptives give you a higher risk of contracting a yeast infection, so do antibiotics. So I would recommend taking cranberry pills and acidophilus on a regular basis! But overall, I would recommend Sprintec. It does it's job.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I've been on Sprintec for about seven months. I was originally on Depo Provera shots, which stopped my normally sporadic and horrific periods completely but left me gaining weight dangerously fast and killed my sex drive, completely. Sprintec doesn't seem to have any of the side effects of Depo. My periods are light and on time exactly every 28 days, lasting 3 or four days, tops, my skin is flawless, and although I do have some light mood changes accompanying PMS (which is something over the Depo, which seemed to completely rob me of all emotion), it's so inexpensive, I would and often do highly recommend it.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have been on Sprintec for about 4 months now..the first month exactly a week before my period I caught a yeast infection, which I had never had before. Every month after that I had a yeast infection exactly one week before my period. Sprintec did help calm my severe cramps but I can't stand these yeast infections. Then I caught a UTI and now I am experiencing vaginal discomfort, which is noted as a direct side effect of Sprintec. I am stopping Sprintec immediately. My doctor keeps telling me that birth contol pills don't really have side effects but I never had any of theses before taking it and I have taken millions of tests and everything is negative! It's Sprintec, especially after reading all of these comments.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I was on Sprintec for 5 months as my first birth control ever, and overall I liked it. Shorter periods, less cramps, great skin, so cheap, and never any spotting (only when I skipped my period on purpose, I spotted a week later for 2 weeks). Only problem is I gained about 15 pounds and my breasts got HUGE. Mine were already big and kept growing so I had to switch to a lower dose. I would definitely recommend this birth control to anyone.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have only been taking this pill for 3 nights already....my appetite has gone down since I started. So far, only side effect...hope it stays that way! I don't get sick, just nothing sounds good and I am eating less.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I started taking Sprintec at the very beginning of July. They switched me because they quit making my other Birth Control and Sprintec was cheaper. The 1st month period was regular like before and 2nd month was absolutely horrid. I had a regular period when I was supposed to then a week later started again-very light flow dark it lasted for 2 weeks but no cramping. Went to the doctor they said this was perfectly normal, a week went past no bleeding, then started spotting again, this lasted for 3 days. I feel like i have a loss of apetite and acne was absolutly horrible and i never had acne before. My periods before this Sprintec lasted 3 days tops and no cramping- started period every 28 days. Haven't had a yeast infection.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding: I have been taking Sprintec for a couple months now and for about a couple weeks of about 3 or four a day, I had severe cramps and had to be put on 500 mg painkillers, it has since subsided somewhat, but I now have the biggest clots that I have ever seen. I am constantly spotting, even though it is supposed to stop or regulate my period. I was placed on it by a couple of different doctors because I have been having excessive bleeding non stop. I was on another birth control pill - I forgot the name which was way better at stopping my period and getting me back on a monthly cycle. With Sprintec, my period is constant and I spot daily. My sex life is nonexistent as a result.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have been on Sprintec for a month now. The first week was fine but starting the second week I got my period and it still has not gone away I have been on my period now for 20 days it is miserable. Alongside this I have been bloated, cramping, my skin has broken out, and my moods have been horrible. This pill was not the right choice for me it has poorly affected my quality of life. I recommend sharing a concern like this with your doctor as I never expected to have such a problem.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I took Sprintec for 3 1/2 years consecutively and it prevented pregnancy and cleared up my acne quite a bit. My period used to be a bit unpredictable since it wasn't on a 28 day cycle. On Sprintec my period came VERY regularly, practically down to the hour every 28 days and only lasted the regular 5-6 (normal for me). I stopped taking it to get pregnant, which happened 6 weeks after I stopped taking Sprintec and I have a healthy baby girl. I breastfed for the full first year so I was on the "mini" pill. Last night was my first night back on Sprintec. I forgot to eat anything with it and woke up at 4 A.M. throwing up. 7 hours later I'm fine and it works great otherwise. Just take it right before or after eating a full meal.
