Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: This is my first birth control I have ever taken. I am 28. I am on it due to severe Endometriosis. I am on my 4th pack in the first week in. My periods went from having severe bleeding with large clots, and mucus for 8 days, to now having lighter period with few clots for 5-6 days. I noticed the first packet I was nauseous. I don't have much of an appetite, and I haven't gained weight in fact it helped the severe bloating I had. My hormones before were horrible I was severely depressed, and cried every night. Now I don't cry and am more happy. I noticed my breasts are tender everyday though more so when I have my period. I still get a little moody on my period, but it is manageable. It also helped my pelvic pain a bit from the Endometriosis
Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have been on Sprintec for about 6 months. It has been great with preventing pregnancy and keep my face clear, besides the occasional break out right before my period. BUT...about an hour or so after I take my pill I get extremely nauseous. I've tried taking it with food or right before I eat but nothing seems to help. It eventually goes away but its very frustrating to deal with it everyday.
Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have been on this birth control for maybe going on my third month. So far I have more positives than negatives. I have barely had any acne at all, maybe one here and there. I'm not very emotional either. Before I began taking Sprintec I always had horrifying cramps at the beginning of my period each month, now I barely have any at all. The worst part about this birth control for me is that I've gained 20 pounds and it is noticeable.
Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have been on it for 4 months now. It was okay at first then I realized I was having mood swings. I have NO sex drive whatsoever. Annoying vaginal dryness when I do and it hurts. I also have yeast infections right before my period for the past 2 months which I never had before in my life. Nothing has changed so I think the pill is to blame. My period is also a little unpredictable but very light. My skin hasn't gotten better but a little worse. Not much weight gain though. It's okay but just not the right one for me. But I didn't get pregnant so that's great!
Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I am going now on my 2nd yr using this, and it's great, my sex drive is great probably got better too, I did not experience much weight gain that isn't normal. I did experience mood swings especially when I would have my periods I guess in that sense it was a bit bad I'd cry or get mad VERY easily and I did experience cramping during my cycle. All in all I do not mind it at all it is good for what it is for because I am not pregnant. I did take my pill 18 hrs late almost a whole other day but I was still fine. This worked great for me I am 5'1". I weighed 118 when I started now I weigh 130lbs. Considering it's been two years I don't think it's bad perhaps because my hips got a little wider, but nothing out of the ordinary.
Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: Can I say.... awful cramps? Never in my life have I had cramps like these! I've only been on Sprintec for a month. My first period was this past weekend and it was bad! I had to take muscle relaxers to get the pain to lessen and those barely touched it. Also, I'm still bleeding four days into my new pill pack. I'm ready to be DONE with this ridiculously long period! My moods are insane. I'm emotional.
One positive: My face is amazingly clear. That's it.
Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: There are more positives for me than negatives. I have little to no PMS (used to have lots of cramps, bloating, moodiness, fatigue, breakouts, breast tenderness). Almost none of that now. Periods much lighter and shorter. Skin cleared up alot (although I get a zit once in awhile now I think because my body has adjusted to the hormone levels). The only drawbacks are decreased sex drive and annoying vaginal dryness.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: In the beginning my acne immediately cleared up- I've never had clear skin in my life! My breasts are larger and I've had a little weight gain, but I'm SO emotional, and I have little to no sex drive which has its effects on my husband and me. It's cheap, and insurance covers it- I'd keep taking it if I didn't have issues with my lack of desire for sex.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I personally have had a horrible experience with this birth control. Of course I understand its going to affect everyone in a different way but I wanted to share my experience. Around the third month of taking Sprintec I started noticing my mood swings were out of control. If I'm not mad I usually just feel numb. I don't genuinely feel excited about anything. I have 0 sex drive and I'm only 21 years old. It made my breasts bigger and I feel like I gained a little weight which I don't mind. I'm looking to switch to something with lower estrogen!
Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I will shortly finish my first pack of Sprintec and must say that this has been the best birth control I've yet to be on. NO issues with sex drive, tiredness, weight gain other than my breast. Which have become a bit larger; however, really tender but I don't mind and/or complaining. My skin did break out at first but is slowly clearing up and I didn't have much of an appetite 2 to 3 days within, that too is better. Other than the few minor changes I will continue to use Sprintec!
Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I'm 27 and have been on this pill for 4 months. My skin has become terrible. I had better skin when I was 20 than I do now, especially because our wedding is 5 months away.
The only positives- I've had no weight gain, no spotting in between and short periods.
Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I love it. I've been on one other pill as well as the Depo-Provera, which was horrible! Sprintec has made me hungry and gain weight and very hard to lose the weight but all in all it's a great pill. No other side effects.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: So far, I am very happy with Sprintec. I have been on it for 2 months. I have much less acne than I used to. The only issues I have with this is that I used to be very energetic everyday and now I am much more calm. The other issue I have is that I am more moody. I will come home and just want to cry for no reason. My breasts have grown, that I am happy about. My periods are lighter and shorter, plus the cramps don't hurt nearly as bad as they used to. I have not noticed a decrease in my sex drive. Overall, I am very pleased with Sprintec.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have been on Sprintec for about six years now and for the most part it has worked well. I have had no pregnancy scares, no hormonal mood swings, and very little spotting in between period weeks.
However, recently, after period week, I have become extremely nauseous in the mornings. (And no I am not pregnant). Also my cramps have worsened.
Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have been on this pill for 4 months now. I am fine until about an hour to 2 after I take it then I become very irritable and paranoid for some reason. I lash out on anyone in site. I have taken other birth control pills and not had these side effects.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I've been on Sprintec for 8 months now and I have few complaints. It has made my unpredictable periods predictable, they're shorter, less painful, and much lighter. I have very few complaints since it has done nothing to lower my sex drive or put me through any pain. The only thing is that I'll sometimes have to deal with minor side effects, including breast tenderness, but this is rare and never happens two months in a row. Overall the benefits outweigh the side effects and I am very happy with this pill.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I'm almost finished with my first month and I can already tell a difference in my skin. However, I want to have sex constantly and I eat everything in sight.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I am completely satisfied with this birth control. Been on it for 3 years and my fiance and I have sex at least 5 times a week. I had some weight gain when I first started using it but my period is always on time and it only lasts 3 days. The pill helped me with the awful PMS I used to have and cleared up my skin.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Ovarian Cysts: I have polycystic ovarian cysts. I used to be on Tri-Sprintec, the polyphasic version of this pill, and had the worst headaches from the hormone changes every week. Switching to Sprintec seems to have solved the issue. My acne and hair issues, courtesy of PCOS, have improved, and I feel better overall. I did gain about three pounds, but I started the medication shortly before the holiday season so it could have been a product of too many parties. Definitely worth a try if you need a higher estrogen level pill. Plus, it's affordable even without insurance.
Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have been on Sprintec for a year and a half. I have been on one other birth control previous to this. But with Sprintec I can always count on my period being the same time every month down to the day, it is also a very mild period and my cramps are about the same as they were. I also have a clear complexion. My complaints with this birth control would have to be the constant headaches and my sex drive has decreased quite a bit. I have also been sleep deprived at night and excessively sleeping during the day. My boyfriend also says that he has seen a difference in my mood since I have started this particular birth control

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have been on Sprintec for about 1 year and 8 months. I believe it has been horrible for me. My sex drive is down which effects my husband and I's relationship. I have had this constant moodiness & roller coaster of emotions that I could not figure out where it was coming from until I started researching when it started and what could be causing it. My skin is clear, I don't have much weight gain nor have I had a baby, but side effects are too much for me.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I've only been on this pill for one month [I have three white pills left out of this first package] and I've only had mild side effects. I had a bit of spotting, but not much. My period this month is much lighter than it ever has been, and I'm hoping it'll be shorter, too. And every once in a while I get a headache. I've also noticed an increase in my appetite, but nothing I couldn't control if I tried. I believe my breasts may be growing, also.
Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I've been on Sprintec for going on 2 years and the longer I've been on it the more I've noticed that my sex drive is beyond low. My fiance' and I used to have sex regularly at least 2-3 times a week and now it has gone down to once a month. Neither of us are okay with that, and I cannot help but wonder if it is from Sprintec. When I first started this pill I thought it was great and I have no other complaints other than the low sex drive, I am thinking about switching soon!

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I've taken these for nearly a year and a half, and have 2-3 periods per month, light but 2-3 days long each. Horrible mood swings, and nausea.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Ovarian Cysts: The only reason I gave this birth control a 2 was because it made my periods last two days and my acne wasn't as bad. That's the only good thing I have to say about it. It has my anxiety come back, severe nausea, bad acid reflux, migraines, mood swings, insomnia, depression at times, and extremely tender breasts. It's hard to go off someone else's experiences cause everyone is different.
