Levora (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: It does the job, obviously--I haven't been pregnant. But I have mood swings like I've never had before, I get anxious and/or depressed. Most despressingly, my sex drive has all but disappeared. Sex is uncomfortable, sometimes painful, and I seem incapable to naturally lubricate. I used to be able to have sex everyday if I wanted to and orgasm almost every time--not now.

Levora (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I have used Levora for a long period of time and never had any issues to speak of. My appetite stayed low and my sex drive was better than without the pill. My weight was easier to maintain, and it never shot up like with other pills I have used. My periods were also not only always on time but became lighter and shorter the longer I was on it. When I came off of it over this last year I gained about 50 pounds but in that time frame I also had a knee surgery so my activity dropped drastically from normal. I don't think I can complain about anything regarding this form of contraception. Didn't have migraines, depression or anything of the other symptoms/side effects.

Levora (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I've been taking this for almost a month now and I am not happy with it. My breast are always aching, I'm always hungry, and for the life of me I can't stop crying. The smallest things make me cry and I am usually not this emotional. Not only that but I feel sharp stomach cramps. I thought my body had to get used to the pill but I'm coming off now.

Levora (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I have been on Levora for 2 months now. I was on Ortho-Cyclen prior and was switched due to changes in my daily medication regimen. About 1 week into starting the pack I noticed that I am ravenously hungry all the time. It is similar to when I was pregnant.
I've also suffered from increased acne on my face. This could be from stress, but I've never had a problem until starting Levora.
Probably the most distressing side effect I've experienced is a marked decrease in my libido. Suffice to say that I enjoyed my intimate moments prior to starting this medication. Now sexual encounters are uncomfortable (vaginal dryness) and few and far between. Complete change from where I was. The "big O" is harder to achieve, too.

Levora (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: Levora made me an emotional MESS! I will pay more for Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo, which I was on for 7 years with NO problems. I switched because Levora is cheaper. I am tired of crying at the drop of a hat and feeling "strange". I realize that every person is different.
Levora (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: Great hormone balance. I've had issues before with other pills (Microgestrin, Aviane, Kariva)...you name it... breakthrough bleeding, depression, headaches, low drive, etc. I thought I was just not someone who the pill worked for without major side-effects...but LEVORA IS GREAT. No issues whatsoever, higher drive, absolutely no weight/depression/spotting/tenderness issues. Amazing pill - highly recommend it if you've had problems with other pills before.
Levora (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I was on Levora for about 9 years and have quit taking it now for about a year. I never became pregnant on this pill, so it definitely serves it's purpose, but I did have some common side effects that it seems a lot of woman complained about as well. My two biggest issues were a VERY decreased libido (almost non-existent), breast tenderness, and anxiety. I'm still suffering from anxiety issues, so I'm not sure if the pill contributed to the anxiety, or if I would've started having it even if I never started taking the pill.
Levora (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I have been on it for about 2 months now. I have had no side effects at all, not even spotting. I don't know if it's affecting my acne. I'm actually very happy with the pill in most ways except one. IT MAKES ME CRAVE FOOD! That is a BIG NO NO for me! I'm on a strict workout/dieting plan. Trying to shave off those love handles before I hit the beaches. But how can it work if I'm always eating! But other than that I'm happy with it. Apparently it affects your sex drive.. but I've had no such problems. Sex is as regular and enjoyable for me as always. I've had no dryness or anything like that. So overall I say it's great for me minus the food issue.
Levora (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel): I was on Levora for 18 months and LOVED it. I had no side effects whatsoever. It helped with my cramps, my skin didn't change, my weight didn't alter.
Levora (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I've been on this pill for a little over a year. I have had no issues with it. My sex drive has increased. I have some cravings a week before my period but that isn't bad. My acne has decreased.
Levora (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I've been taking Levora for a little over a year. This was my first time using an oral contraceptive and it is amazing. I haven't gotten pregnant, my sex drive has increased and my acne isn't as bad. When I take the reminder pills I usually don't start my period the first day which scares me. I crave food the week before my period and sometimes during. This pill serves its purpose so far, but me and my boyfriend also use condoms the majority of the time.
Levora (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: This is my first experience with birth control, and so far it has been a very positive one. I have been on it for about 2 months. Before I had breakouts all of the time, and only a few days after starting this, I noticed that my acne had close to disappeared. Also, I used to have some problems with facial hair. That also has disappeared. I have had no mood swings, weight gain, or decrease in sexual drive or wetness. My weight has actually been easier to maintain, and I have lost about 10 pounds. All in all, this has been a great pill for me.
Levora (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: With this pill I don't have issues of breakthrough bleeding or nausea as I had with others. This pill does decrease my sex drive however.
Levora (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I have been on Levora for 2 years, it definitely works in regards to being pregnant. My appetite has not increased to badly. I have only gained about 5 pounds. Levora seems to keep my acne in check. My periods are a lot lighter. The only problem I have is my sex drive is pretty much non-existent. It's become such a problem that I will be switching birth controls.
Levora (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel): I've been taking Levora for 2 months now. The first few weeks were AWFUL...I was an emotional wreck with severe mood swings. Also, would feel very nauseous the majority of the time, especially immediately after taking the pill. Had bad breast tenderness but within a few weeks this subsided. Only had a few days of irregular spotting but this soon subsided as well. On the second pack, I really had hardly any problems with this birth control. However, I am planning on switching pills because the one MAJOR problem I have with this pill, which is a serious deal breaker for me, is that ever since starting the pill I have experienced TERRIBLE acne...large, painful, under the skin pimples and also many tiny pimples on my forehead. Hope this helps!
Levora (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I'm an army wife and the clinic here switched me too this birth control after 3 years of a different pill. Well, after a couple months I've experienced longer periods, a depleted sex drive and a harder to reach climax. I am not happy since my husband just got back from Iraq and we should be having the best sex right now.
Levora (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel): I have been on this pill for 2 and a half months and so far everything is perfect except my appetite has increased TREMENDOUSLY. I crave everything under the sun and eat like crazy which I haven't before. I went from almost a non-existent appetite (A meal and a snack a day) to a dramatic one (eating every few hours). I really don't want to stop taking it or switch because I feel like I wont find another pill better. My periods are regular now, almost no cramps, no break through bleeding, skin is near perfect, etc.
Levora (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I have been taking Levora for a year and a half. For the first year, maybe a little less, it was great. My periods weren't shorter but definitely lighter. My face cleared up but not entirely. The week before the placebo pills my face always seems to get worse but not anything to worry about. However, like most other people my libido DECREASED to the point that I have absolutely no desire. For that reason I talked to my doctor and will soon be switching to Tri Sprintec which I have heard some terrible reviews about so I am skeptical about that as well. I would recommend Levora if it is for lighter periods or for acne issues.
Levora (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: Been a great pill for me. Got turned on to it after using the "4 period a year" method. That DID NOT work well for me and really upset my body chemistry. After about a year or two without taking any pills I started using Levora. No side effects whatsoever and I feel better on it than I did when not using the pill at all! It levels out my hormones nicely I think. But as with any medication, you have to find a pill that works well with your chemistry.
Levora (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: Hasn't caused many problems for me. May have made me get more pimples than usual but nothing horrible, no bad breakouts, etc. My sex drive is still healthy. My weight is easier to maintain and there has been no hunger increase. Also my periods are a lot shorter, going from about 3 days of moderate-heavy flow and 3 days of spotting-"pantyliner" flow to about 1 day of heavy flow to 1 day of "pantyliner" flow and can always be predicted within 2 days after I stop taking the hormone pills. I really don't have much to complain about this pill.
Levora (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I was put on Levora about 5 months ago, due to PAINFUL and STRONG periods. Since I have started to use Levora, I have found that my periods have decreased some in regards to flow (YAH!), and has GREATLY helped me with my cramps! Before taking Levora, I would have to take a pain pill about 2 times a day for the 1st 2-3 days (needless to say, not good for your health). Overall Levora has helped me a lot. As for any issues, I haven't faced any at this point (acne is about the same, no increased weight or appetite, etc.).
Levora (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I have been taking Levora for about 6 months. I have realized lately that I am very unhappy with it. I have a very decreased sex drive. I never am interested in being intimate. I also have alot of cramping on my period, which I thought birth control was supposed to decrease. I'm thinking about switching over to Ortho Tri Cyclen. I was wondering what other people have experienced with that one? all the reviews seem very positive...
Levora (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I have been taking Levora for the past 6 months or so. I LOVE IT. I have no severe side effects except tender breasts sometimes. Sex drive has also definitely increased. The only problem I have with Levora is that when its time to take the "reminder" pills it takes a few days to get my period....it always scares me....but so far, my period has always come. ALL IN ALL, I'M VERY HAPPY WITH LEVORA.
Levora (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel): The pill has served its purpose- I have not gotten pregnant while on it. However, I have experienced weight gain, VERY low libido, and more vaginal discharge than normal. On the plus side my periods have been regular and I rarely experience cramps. When I do cramp it is nothing like before I was on birth control.
