DermaChlor 4 Wipes Indications

For local antiseptic skin cleansing to aid in the treatment of superficial skin conditions caused by bacteria, fungi, ringworm and yeasts that are responsive to chlorhexidine in dogs and cats. DermaChlor 4 Wipes are antibacterial, antifungal and antiseptic and are intended to be used adjunctively in protocols for the management of skin conditions under the supervision of your veterinarian.

Active Ingredient

Chlorhexidine gluconate, 4% w/v.

Non-medicinal ingredients: tromethamine (Tris) USP, edetate disodium (EDTA), glycerin, polysorbate, butylene glycol, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, methylisothiazolinone, fragrance and water.

Directions For Use

Apply DermaChlor 4 Wipes to affected area. May be used once or twice a week or as directed by your veterinarian for the specific condition being treated.

Contraindications

Do not use in animals which are hypersensitive to any component of this formulation.

Cautions: FOR TOPICAL USE ONLY. Should not be swallowed. Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water and consult your veterinarian. Animals should be monitored to prevent licking of the treated area. If skin, eye, or mouth irritation develops (redness, hypersalivation), discontinue use and consult your veterinarian.

Storage

Store at room temperature (15 - 30°C). Protect from freezing.
