DermaChlor 4 Shampoo Indications

Antiseptic cleansing shampoo to aid in the treatment of superficial skin conditions caused by bacteria, fungi, ringworm and yeasts that are responsive to chlorhexidine in dogs and cats. DermaChlor 4 Shampoo is antibacterial, antifungal and antiseptic and is intended to be used adjunctively in protocols for the management of skin conditions under the supervision of your veterinarian.

Active Ingredient

Chlorhexidine gluconate, 4% w/v.

Non-medicinal ingredients: Tromethamine (Tris) USP, edetate disodium (EDTA) USP, lauramine oxide, cocamidopropyl betaine, polyacrylate-1 crosspolymer, decyl glucoside, citric acid, PEG-8 laurate, laureth 4, methylisothiazolinone, methylisochlorothiazolinone, fragrance and water.

Directions For Use

SHAKE WELL. Thoroughly wet the animal’s coat with warm water. Rub DermaChlor 4 Shampoo onto skin and haircoat until lightly lathered. Allow shampoo to remain on skin and coat for about 5 to 10 minutes. Rinse well. May be used once or twice a week or as directed by your veterinarian for the specific disorder being treated.

Contraindications

Do not use in animals which are hypersensitive to any component of this formulation.

Cautions: FOR TOPICAL USE ONLY. Should not be swallowed. Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. If irritation develops, discontinue use and consult your veterinarian.

Storage

Store at room temperature (15°-30°C). Protect from freezing.
