Side effects include:
Most common adverse reactions with resmetirom (the active ingredient contained in Rezdiffra) (reported in ≥5% of patients and more frequently than placebo) are diarrhea, nausea, pruritus, vomiting, constipation, abdominal pain, and dizziness.
