"I have been taking Rezdiffra, 80 mg, for about two weeks. While I will most certainly give it more time, I have really been struggling with diarrhea, severe at times, and mild stomach pain. Hopefully, these symptoms moderate. If they don't, I don't know if I can continue with the treatment. The situation at present would make it quite difficult to say, go out and have a meal if more than 20 minutes or so from home. When it comes on, the need to move the bowels is sudden and urgent. Once it begins, the process is ongoing and lasts for an hour or two. The need to eliminate seems to peak in the mid-afternoon to early evening, right around the dinner hour. I have been waiting for a MASH therapy to meet with FDA approval for some time and was quite happy to have been approved for the drug. However, if this situation doesn't alleviate itself or level off to some extent, I won't likely be taking the medication long-term."

"My liver enzymes have lowered, and liver damage has not progressed. Been on Rezdiffra since 06/01/24. Will have a new Fibroscan in May. Feel better. It’s like I can tell my body is using food for fuel instead of collecting around my middle."

"Taking 100 mg for NASH. I have soft stool to diarrhea, I also wake up feeling nauseous. I had pneumonia and C-diff around December 2024. I hadn’t had C-diff since I was diagnosed in 1988 after heavy doses of antibiotics prior to back surgery. We believe the antibiotics for my pneumonia caused this current episode. I am taking probiotics and eating yogurt to help with gut health. If I feel too nauseous, I’ll take extra strength Gas-X. If I have a blowout, it usually wipes me out for the day. I’ve only been on Rezdiffra for a couple of months now, and the blood test showed improvement."
