Serious side effects of Exelderm
Along with its needed effects, sulconazole topical (the active ingredient contained in Exelderm) may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.
Check with your doctor as soon as possible if any of the following side effects occur while taking sulconazole topical:
Less common
- Burning or stinging, itching, redness of the skin, or other signs of irritation not present before use of this medicine

Common (1% to 10%): Itching, burning/stinging
Uncommon (0.1% to 1%): Redness
Frequency not reported: Mild to moderate skin reactions (including pruritus, erythema, burning, irritation, stinging), phototoxic reactions[Ref]
