Pyrantel - what is the dosage for cats and kittens?

Pyrantel pamoate is usually dosed in dogs and in cats at 2.5 to 5 mg per pound (5 to 10 mg/kg) once, repeated in three weeks.
Pyrantel is available in 2.27 mg/ml, 4.54 mg/ml and 50 mg/ml suspension. The medication should never be administered without first consulting your veterinarian.
