Does Nexlizet cause weight loss or weight gain?

There's no evidence that Nexlizet affects your weight. Weight loss or weight gain are not listed as side effects on the Nexlizet Package Insert. Post-marketing reports also do not mention weight loss or weight nor can any anecdotal reports of weight changes be found on common medication blog sites. Cholesterol-lowering drugs, such as Nexlizet, don’t usually affect a person’s weight.

Any changes in weight are likely due to diet and exercise, not the medication. It is important to follow a healthy diet while taking Nexlizet to manage your cholesterol.
