Using propofol together with chlordiazePOXIDE may increase the risk of side effects such as irregular heartbeat, low blood pressure, difficulty breathing, prolonged sedation, dizziness, and fatigue. Your healthcare team will monitor you closely and adjust the dose accordingly during procedures requiring propofol for anesthesia and/or sedation to safely use both medications. Do not use more than the recommended dose of chlordiazePOXIDE, and avoid activities requiring mental alertness such as driving or operating hazardous machinery until you know how the medication affects you.
