If you are currently being treated or are going to begin treatment with avelumab, you should let your doctor know before receiving influenza virus vaccine, live. You may be at risk for developing an infection from influenza virus vaccine, live or have a reduced response to influenza virus vaccine, live, although this has not been studied. If you have recently received influenza virus vaccine, live, your doctor may choose to postpone treatment with avelumab for a few weeks, or you may need to wait for a period of time after completing your treatment with avelumab before receiving influenza virus vaccine, live. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
