Ask your doctor before using sulfacetamide sodium ophthalmic together with silver nitrate ophthalmic. Sulfacetamide sodium ophthalmic will precipitate as its silver salt in the presence of silver nitrate ophthalmic. Concurrent use of these medications should be avoided. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
