Usual Adult Dose for Atopic Dermatitis
- Initial dose: 500 mg subcutaneously at week 0 and week two, followed by 250 mg subcutaneously every two weeks until week sixteen
- Maintenance dose: 250 mg subcutaneously every four weeks
Comments:
- If a dose is missed, administer the dose as soon as possible. Thereafter, resume dosing at the regular scheduled time.

Use: For the treatment of adults and pediatric patients 12 years of age and older who weigh at least 40 kg with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis whose disease is not adequately controlled with topical prescription therapies or when those therapies are not advisable

12 years and older who weigh at least 40 kg:
- Initial dose: 500 mg subcutaneously at week 0 and week two, followed by 250 mg subcutaneously every two weeks until week sixteen

Precautions
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Prior serious hypersensitivity to this drug or any excipients.
Safety and efficacy have not been established in patients younger than 12 years.

Administration advice
- This medication should be given by an adult.
- Provide patient or caregiver with training on the proper way to prepare and administer this medication.
- Administer the injection in alternating sites, which include the abdomen, thigh, and back of upper arm.
Storage requirements:
- Refrigerate at 2C to 8C (36F to 46F), protect from light.
- May be kept at room temperature up to 30C (86F) for up to 7 days in the original carton.
- Do not freeze.
Reconstitution/preparation techniques:
- Do not use if it contains visible particles, is discolored or cloudy.
- Remove prefilled pen or syringe from the refrigerator and let stand at room temperature without removing the needle cap for 45 minutes. Do not use a heat source such as hot water, microwave, or direct sunlight to warm the solution.
Patient advice:
- Read the US FDA-approved patient labeling (Patient Information and Instructions for Use).
- Store in original carton to protect from light.
- Do not shake.
- Discard with needle shield after use in a puncture-resistant container.
