Tinidazole "Tinidazole worked within a few hours of taking it, no side effects, just a miracle cure. Bearing in mind I have already taken 2g of metronidazole 2 weeks ago (no side effects with this either, I think I must have the constitution of an ox), and the symptoms cleared a little after a week but returned. I reckon although this was more expensive, it was worth it. Please don't be scared to take these meds. Don't read too much into reviews, I did and scared myself. Everyone will have different experiences. But I am just thankful we have these cures."

"I have never written a review for anything, but I’m writing one for Tinidazole. I was prescribed Metronidazole first and had the worst side effects ever. Nausea, weakness, but the worst was my hands and feet went numb for days. This was after taking one pill, so I was terrified when I had to take four of tinidazole. I can say I had no symptoms at all besides a slight headache. This medicine is amazing for not giving you the side effects metro gives you!!!"

"I took this med as a one-time dose, 4 pills at once, and I actually had 0 side effects the whole day. I ate a big meal with it. But I woke up this morning with a horrible metallic taste in my mouth and some nausea. But I have noticed the cloudy urine and odor has subsided. This is probably the only antibiotic that didn’t give me major side effects. Don’t let the reviews scare you!"

"My husband cheated on me, and I got this awful smell. Went to the doctor and almost fainted when I found out I had trichomoniasis and bacterial vaginitis, but I took these pills. I am allergic to Flagyl, and so I was scared because I’m allergic to most antibiotics, but the pharmacist told me to eat and then 30 minutes before I take the four pills to take a Benadryl, so I did that. Now I no longer have a smell and left my husband, and so they told me to wait a month to get rechecked. I will probably go back before then. I was so ashamed of myself, like I’ve never had a smell, and I was so ashamed of that, but I don’t smell now, so just waiting for this time to get rechecked. Needless to say, I was tired and had a little upset stomach, probably because I didn’t eat enough, but I’m feeling better and back to my old self. This seems to be a lot better than the clindamycin gel. That stuff took the smell away, but in three days it was back. I was like, oh no. This medicine I heard works - we will see."

Tinidazole "I was diagnosed with trichomoniasis, and where it came from I'm unsure of. I took the 4 white pills as soon as I got them. I didn't experience any major side effects other than feeling flushed (body temperature was rising) and dehydration. I knew the increase in body temp was an indication the medication was at work. I have not yet had a follow-up with my ob-gyn, but as soon as I do (a couple of days from now), I will repost my personal results and will be able to better rate this drug. As for my partner, who also took Tindamax, he said he felt extremely itchy all over his body and very nauseous and complained of a chemical odor whenever he would urinate. He has yet to go get a follow-up with his doctor as well."

"I was diagnosed with trichomoniasis, and my doctor prescribed me these 4 tinidazole pills at 500 mg. I just took them not too long ago, my vagina was very irritated, itchy, no smell, but it was irritated. Now I'm going to wait the 7 to 10 days to see if everything will be back to normal and check up with my ob-gyn."

"I took tinidazole (4 pills at once = 2 g) on March 16th, 2021. I took it because I was diagnosed with Bacterial Vaginosis as well as Trichomoniasis. I also had yeast (yes, I know so much going on). I took Monistat 3 a day to clear up the yeast. I took this as soon as I got done eating, so my stomach was nice and full. I felt fine after taking this medication the first day. The next day, March 17, 2021, there were very mild symptoms. The symptoms were so mild that I still went about my day without being bothered. During that evening, I had some diarrhea and felt nauseated with very little appetite. But it wasn't to the point of overbearing... my nausea wasn't that bad, it was mild. My appetite seems to be the only thing that really did something, but I still ate. Oh, and urine was dark, and all I drink is water (but taking this med does give you dark urine). On March 18th, symptoms are nonexistent, no smell, no heavy discharge, and side effect symptoms from medication are gone."

"I took this med (tinidazole) yesterday. I was diagnosed with trichomoniasis. My dose: 2g for 1 day. I took 2 tablets at 11:30 and 2 tablets at 4:30 pm with a full meal and a glass of almond milk, no side effects. The only side effect is I can’t sleep... but I still have discharge in the morning... is it normal?"

"I was diagnosed with trichomoniasis last October, started using metronidazole, and it wouldn't work. Fast forward to May when the CDC had to take over my case to find out I contacted a very rare form of antibiotic-resistant trichomoniasis. They prescribed what they call a huge dose of tinidazole, so 2 pills 3 times a day for 2 weeks. I am now on my 3rd day and absolutely miserable. I can't sleep, I can barely eat, I feel like I'm about to have a stroke, but I have no choice if I want to get rid of this. My insurance did not cover this, and the cost was $1,075.00 just for the generic, the brand name was almost $3,000."

"I have BV and Trich and kept this stuff in my pantry for almost a year (3 weeks before it expired) because I was terrified of the reviews on this stuff. I felt fine, ate fine, the only problem was the awful taste in my mouth and trying to drink anything with this taste was awful. It wasn’t so bad if I ate a bite of something, then chugged some water, but it’s safe to say I didn’t get in as much water as I should have. I realize the dosage for BV is double what I took. I took 1 gram at 11 a.m. and then the next 1 gram at 6 p.m. I took the pills on Saturday and it’s now Monday and the taste in my mouth is gone, smell below is gone, still having some discharge, but it’s clear. Don’t be afraid of this medicine. I’m aware that everyone is different, but I made sure to take this on a FULL stomach with a couple swigs of milk to coat the stomach better."

"I was prescribed two 500 mg pills to get rid of trich. I went to the doctor at 1:30 and left about 3. Maybe an hour or two later, I had horrible diarrhea! My cycle came on a couple of days later, and now the scent is back with a discharge. Did the diarrhea have an effect on the pill?"

"I got prescribed 2g a day for 7 days for Trich. I knew that I couldn’t handle Flagyl due to trying it before for a stomach infection, so I know I needed something different. Tinidazole, I take it on a full stomach, and the only side effects were insomnia, headache, restless leg syndrome, and an awful taste in the mouth. I never had symptoms and caught Trich from a road trip from using pubic areas. Yes, I know it is sexually transmitted, but you can also get it from toilet seats, wet towels, poorly treated pools/tubs. I’m 100% sure mine wasn’t transmitted sexually."

"Tinidazole is the best thing yet, works very fast. I'm 5 days into my 7 days, taking 4 pills a day, and I have never felt more happy about my vagina."

"Took 500 mg twice a day for 7 days. My infection is cured, however, I haven't had a period since I took this med, and that was 5 months ago. Anyone else have this problem? Please advise."

Tinidazole "I was diagnosed with trichomoniasis in early September after having awful symptoms. I had a foul discharge, pain when urinating, pain during intercourse, slight bleeding during intercourse, and didn't know what was wrong. Since this was my first time having this, I was very scared. My doctor told me it is easily treated and it's a common STD, so while I was still upset, it did put my mind at ease a little. I took 4 pills of 500 mg in one dose and abstained for a little over a week, and it got rid of all the symptoms. I must admit it worked well, and I had no side effects."
